An excellent stay. A warm greeting on arrival with a car parking space saved for us, a personal welcome and our bags taken to our room for us. Lovely suite - traditional French decor - it was nice to have a room that did not look like a characterless international hotel room. Slightly quirky but charming. Good pillows! We got helpful advice on where to go to find somewhere to eat and for breakfast the hotel was happy for us to buy croissants from the baker and eat them in the hotel with a coffee. And it was proper coffee in a jug - not Nespresso machine coffee. Beautiful well maintained building and courtyard. Lovely staff.. An outstanding find. We would recommend. We will return.
The hotel is very well located near the city center, a 5-minute walk from the Hospices. Excellent value for money.
A very warm welcome and the same feeling in the morning at breakfast – nothing but good things to say. A lovely, practical room close to the center. Secure parking, convenient with a full car. Dogs are welcome. A little more soap would have been nice, but the pillow was great.
Room No. 17 is very poorly soundproofed; noise comes from the neighboring rooms. Access to the bathroom requires two steps, and the room is quite narrow. The cleanliness of the premises was satisfactory, and the breakfast was adequate. The staff were welcoming.

The first impression was great, as the man at the reception was lovely. But, the room was REALLY cold and we had an awful night. Like the worse in a very long time. No duvets, only old blankets not wide enough for the bed. We even left the hotel really early so bad we felt in the room, it ruined our stay in Beaune.
I told the woman at the reception in the morning but she couldn't care less, so I emailed the manager in hope for a kind word, but I didn't get any sympathy from him either. Just a long email explaining that it is the way it is. A bit of sympathy or a "sorry" would have made it less sore, but neither the staff nor the manager seem to have that word in their vocabulary.
We stayed in December and our room was very warm. Parking easy and generous. German stations on TV (not a given in France!). Reception was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Hotel close to centre of Beaune.
Exceptional service from all staff, well done everyone
The main drawback is the mandatory breakfast. At €15, one would expect a buffet. The breakfast room is very noisy. It has a tiled floor and a low plaster ceiling; sound-absorbing material on the ceiling would improve the acoustics.
A beautiful place, a little out of time. We appreciated the welcome, the breakfast, and the pleasant setting.
Lovely building and staff. Room clean and comfortable but at this price I’d expect bottles of water and nice bathroom products. Breakfast pricy too. Good to have climate control but why can’t guests set temperature - we like a cold room so had to open windows in October - and got bitten!!

The location was excellent, near to the Center, as well as the private secured parking. The room was comfortable and quiet.
Nevertheless we were missing a few little things, like tea/coffee maker opportunity, paper tissues in the bathroom.
The quality of the breakfast was good, although limited in choice. I also asked for an additional little white bread, which was refused. The reason told was that it was the beginning of the breakfast service, so not possible. It looked like there was only one little white bread foreseen per person and no more. This is an absolute no go and in all my travelling I never encountered this.
Charming hotel, ideal location, very pleasant staff
Tea and coffee makkng facilities in the room would have improved the experience. Also family room for 4 for 2 nights and only 2 small shower gels between 4 - not quite enough.
The power went out in the room and didn't come back on for the rest of our stay. Since it was nighttime, we couldn't ask for help.

Officially three stars, but very friendly, very clean, very tasty breakfast, nice parking lot, we can really recommend it.
Our overall opinion is positive: good level of comfort, efficient and friendly service, and a very pleasant courtyard with a terrace for breakfast. Areas for improvement: The room decor could be a little more personalized to create a warmer atmosphere. One issue in the bathroom: the bathtub is very slippery, even dangerous for showering while standing. It also lacks an electrical outlet for a hairdryer or toothbrush charger.
Everything was perfect
I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was particularly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. You immediately feel at ease, almost like you're at home. The decor is pretty, neat, and tastefully done, which makes the place even more welcoming. A great place that I recommend without hesitation!

Lovely stay. Hugely friendly staff who provided a great welcome with information of local town and where to go for our short one night stay. Decor a little dated but charming hotel, would recommend.
We arrived to this hotel at about 4pm and were shown to our room . Upon entering we noticed a strong gaseous smell in the room similar to stagnant water . We went to reception and waited until a staff member came to the room . He told us that this was an issue with the Air conditioning and that they had 1 other room available but that it had the same issue . He suggested turning off the A/C and leaving the window open . This was not acceptable as the hotel is on the roadside and the weather was touching 30 degrees.
We then asked for the reservation to be cancelled as we could not stay there. It was when we asked for this that the receptionist (Ishmael ) became agrressive and rude and insulting. He told us this was not possible as the owner was away out of the country on holidays and could only do this when he came back next week and we could either stay or leave , he did not care. We contacted Booking.com while we were there and he confirmed that this was a systemic problem with the A/C in that wing but could not refund us without the owners consent. We left feeling very poorly treated . The hotel itself looks beautiful from the outside but is very shoddy and tired. The lack of staff was shocking as Ishmael was the only staff member we saw during the 1.5 hour check in debacle.
The owner subsequently contacted Booking.com and lied throughout the entire conversation. He condescendingly said that the smell was not gas but essential oils and that we could not tell the difference between the two and that there was no issue with the A/C and that my wife was shouting and causing a scene at the desk with all the staff (???) and customers. He then said that he would 'magically' be there in the morning ( not on holiday for another week!!! ) .
I feel that the owner and staff should accept the issues and deal with them professionally. The hospitality industry is not for everyone and perhaps this owner should look for another profession as, abusing customers and lying are not part of the job description for hoteliers. All of the above can be verified with the booking.com customer support team should the owner reply with more defensive rhetoric.

Het ziet er mooi uit van buiten en het parkeren is ideaal zo op die binnenplaats.
Wij hadden een familiekamer maar ik vond de sfeer niet helemaal fris. De kamer rook muf, naar een 17-eeuws kasteel :).
De kamer is donker en bedompt. We misten ook echt een waterkoker of koffieapparaat of een koelkastje.
Er zijn verder weinig extra’s. Badkamer verder oké, het personeel ook.
We hadden geen ontbijt dus die service kan ik niet beoordelen.
Ik zou bij een volgend bezoek aan Beaune aan ander hotel proberen.

Five star review for a 3 star hotel. I hope this doesn't get put on their website as it's going to make it even harder for me to get the dates I want for my return visit. There asking about ambiance of the breakfast room... lets put it this its a perfect outside court yard with views on the sky and tree's. You can tell me you need anything else.
Magnificent stay in a beautiful setting
Room was large and clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing and the room decor was a bit dull.
Good service, friendly, but nothing extraordinary for the price paid. However, note the very pretty exterior. We had a room on the second floor with non-adjustable air conditioning, just on/off, not very practical.

It’s a beautiful, historical building that is well located in Beaune. Staff are very friendly and the courtyard is a fantastic place to read as it catches the sun for most of the day. It would be nice if guests were allowed to use the inside part of the terrace during the day if it is raining rather than being stuck in the stuffy rooms or bars (I was told I could not and that it was for breakfast only, despite there seemingly to be no reason why I couldn’t sit there with a book and a coffee).
The accommodation inside is dated and appears to be showing its age. For example, the AC units didn’t have a control in my room and couldn’t be manually changed. Whilst it did work it was pretty noisy and would make spluttering noises randomly in the night. The chain on my bathroom toilet kept getting stuck which meant I had the sound of the toilet refilling for most of the day when I was in the room (it would randomly stop). It would be good to add proper soap dispensers to bathrooms to modernise them rather than a hand bar of soap for washing hands. A kettle in the room would also be a good experience. Generally, the hotel lacked the little details (the charging sockets next to the bed being on the floor and difficult to reach for example).
Staff were super friendly and the price of coffee from the bar was very reasonable.

We had a great stay!! We were welcomed by Walid, a very friendly young man, always smiling and full of helpful tips for visiting Beaune, including some great places to eat. Don't hesitate!!! The staff were very pleasant to us, smiling and kind!!

Feels like a well run, traditional French hotel that puts service first. Quick walk to town centre & all sites you may want to visit. Secure parking on premises. Attractive accommodation. And PROPER freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast alongside all the pastries and cooked egg options you can think of.
Not great. Good location, clean, and helpfull staff. But very poorly equiped, and hotel is smelly due too poor ventilation of kitchen. Very mean breakfast and offerings. Bring your own shampoo and toiletpaper. Due to the added extras far too expensive for what it is.
The location is a stone's throw from the center, parking is available, the accommodation has the charm of the Belle Époque, the room is clean, and the staff is very welcoming, polite, and pleasant. This is what we look for during our stays. The only downside was the hardness of the mattress. It's really very rare that this bothers us so much.
