Great stay, everything was very good including the closed garage for our motorbike
I booked a deluxe room with a bathtub and breakfast for €160 per night. When I arrived, I was surprised to see that the room was supposed to be between 16 and 18m2 (not 26!) and that it was equipped with a shower and not a bathtub. I went down to report it to the reception who told me that indeed the room was not 26m2, that they were sorry about the shower despite the choice of a bathtub but that the hotel was full and therefore no possibility of changing rooms. I was with friends who had all paid between €98 and €110 for their rooms (mostly standard) but strangely, all their rooms were much larger than the one I had paid more for! So if you want to be "downgraded" by paying for an upgrade, you are in the right place. Another point: in exchanging emails with the hotel, before making my choice, I was told that the restaurant offered menus, one of which was €32). So I booked for 6 but there you go, no menu and only a à la carte where we dined, without going overboard, for €60/person... Anyway, I still have to check in my exchanges with the hotel, but I am almost certain that I pre-paid the breakfast, but I was charged €15 in addition to the price already paid. To this I add that apart from the smiling young girl at reception, the staff is not friendly.

We really had expected something better bearing in mind the price paid! The room was quite small and shower basic and the rate didn't even include breakfast. We had a better room which included breakfast and was 40 EUR cheaper at the Ibis Styles Laval a few days earlier. For a one night stay the price is really not worth it and I think you could find something cheaper locally- if on the other hand you want a posh spa type break then as long as you choose a superior room it could be right for you.
The staff and the food were superb.
We have stayed here before several years ago and this year exceeded our expectations.
Friendly staff & room generally excellent with lovely views of the countryside from the terrace.
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays so the only dinner options are at the riverside which is half a mile away down a steep hill- would be difficult for anyone with walking difficulties.
Breakfast was fine with good quality ingredients but seemed overpriced.
Bar and reception only open for short periods.
Lack of air conditioning in the rooms
The beds were very comfortable. The cleanliness was excellent. The service and reception were very friendly. Room 4 still desperately needs a blind or curtain in the bathroom!

I really recommend it from every point of view: the place, the site and especially the welcome. The catering is excellent, well done to the chef and the whole team.
Lovely hotel that I have stayed in before.. it has recently changed ownership and appeared much quieter.The evening dinner was delicious and the staff very attentive.
Love the location and outside area… in need of some gardening care to clear weeds and plants to brighten up the sitting areas.
Breakfast on the second morning ( at €15 Is expensive)) was limited as all the bread , cheese, ham , yoghurt and fruit salad had been consumed by earlier guests and no catering staff around on Sunday morning to manage this.
However the lovely receptionist when informed did a great job in baking some bread and croissants and locating the yogurt and fruit salad and a piece of cheese.
I am sure once the new owners become more established the hotel will be back up to its beautiful efficient way.

We spent three very pleasant days and were able to taste the entire menu of the restaurant where the cuisine is excellent and the service impeccable.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, excellent food. On the other hand, very disappointed with the 'Deluxe' room offered (no. 1): very uncomfortable sunken mattress, tiny old-fashioned bathroom, view of the street... We booked late so probably got the last room available, but we are still disappointed with the value for money. Too bad!

2-night stay in a superior room… courtesy tray… excellent bedding… the smiling and friendly welcome was very much appreciated… excellent dinner with a very smiling chef as was the son in the dining room… small downside to the breakfast which we would have appreciated with more regional products, especially cheeses… we recommend this establishment and will return with pleasure

Inchecktijd erg laat , nl 17u. Dame bij de receptie was kortaf. Restaurant was gesloten. Werden naar 3km verderop gestuurd. Ons spelletje scrabble in de lounge werd ruw verstoord omdat t 20u was en wij als kleine kinderen naar de kamer moesten. De spa en bubbelbad ook gesloten. Kortom een niet gastvriendelijk hotel.
