A very decent evening stop for work
The welcome was warm, however, the friendliness of the waiters was catastrophic! I booked a two-night, half-board stay, and there was no offer of drinks other than water, no choice of menu, and the portion size of the starters was ridiculously small. One evening, we had the same vegetables as both a starter and a main course. The dessert portion was also a disgrace! Tables were set for eight or more, but if you're alone or a couple, you're automatically seated with other strangers! The restaurant on the property is truly excellent, but the hotel is unacceptable. The waiters never smiled; they were very cold. We didn't even have time to finish our plates before they wanted to clear them! The breakfast buffet was good, but the welcome was just as icy, and there too, if we went to get seconds, they took our cups away! I stayed in the Pavilion, which is really not practical at all. It's all on a slope, poorly lit at night, and with a heavy suitcase and a disability, the entire access system needs to be redesigned! The room was fine, however, you could hear the neighbor talking on the phone, and all the light bulbs were burned out or three didn't work. However, the cleaning was impeccable; kudos to the cleaning and maintenance staff.

Good evening, quiet stopover, shame the tax is so high.
Stayed in room 201, the ventilation needs checking, there was a slight musty smell (due to age). The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the food was very good.

No one at reception when I arrived, no heating in the room, no outlet next to the bed, humidity in the room. However, service with a smile in the restaurant which is decent.
Very nice place, but very "normal" room, for the price paid, without mechanical ventilation, and non-soundproof walls. Defective sanitary facilities (flush that sends all the water without stopping and then cannot close properly), shower and sink mixers totally unstable with very strong variations in temperature. The restaurant side is ok, good presentation. Breakfast without much choice, non-continental (no crushed eggs, bacon and sausage) it's a shame the tourist tax at more than 8€ per night / person, it increases the value of the night spent too much in contrast to the perceived value.

Dissatisfied with our room as it was a twin without a view of the lake all the good rooms have double beds which are too small or comfortable for 2 people
I really enjoyed my stay at the Au Bord du Lac hotel: The hotel is ideally located near a body of water, very quiet. The welcome was very smooth and the staff were helpful and courteous. The room was very decent. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant was good quality and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

A little corner of paradise in a peaceful setting close to Paris and Versailles!
Very noisy at night, the parking lot is a meeting place for young people. The room is very cramped, you have to cut wisteria branches to close the shutters.

Stayed several times before, will stay again.
An excellent hotel, staff very friendly and efficient. Superb food served in the restaurant. The hotel is well-placed for the RER rail links to both Paris and Versailles (about 1 km). We shall definitely stay here again!
Overall, a pleasant and very well-located establishment. The welcome was also very pleasant. The only drawback is that the bedding is a bit average.
