Beautiful set (room, pool, sauna...) a little dated, but very clean and the location is incredible if you like hiking and want to get out into the countryside!
For a 4 star I expected it to be clean
Friendly welcome, however this establishment is not worth 4 stars, 2 at a pinch.
A very pleasant stay in a quality establishment. Despite a late booking and arrival, we were very well received, were able to dine and even enjoy the pool. The location is splendid and peaceful. The establishment is perfectly maintained, and the manager and his team are friendly and attentive. Not to be missed if you are staying in this region.

Very good stay for a week. Quality family hotel. Swimming pool + spa and Jacuzzi are a +. Lots of things to do and discover in the area... Very quiet place, with a spacious room.
The hotel is very pleasant, even if old-fashioned; it takes us back in time, which has a certain charm. The place is quiet and the view is magnificent. It would have been perfect if the jacuzzi had been cleaner. I'm a fussy person.

Oui, bien, même si l’hôtel est vieux. Il reste traditionnel, au calme. Quand vous discutez avec le responsable de l’établissement, vous comprenez directement ses difficuletés. A côté de l’hôtel même se trouve un projet de chambres supplémentaires qui ne s’est pas concrètisé. Presque un gouffre financier....Tenir n’est pas facile par rapport aux groupes hôreliers où tout est pareil. J’ai fait mon choix et j’oublie. La litterie vous permettra de passer une bonne nuit et le déjeuner est bon.

Very nice family
Highlights; the place is incredible: a clearing in the forest, at an altitude of over 700m, at the end of a small forest road, with a magnificent view of the Petit Ballon. A haven of peace, without noise, without traffic.... The swimming pool is very good, although impacted by the problems mentioned later. The owner, a fairly elderly man, takes great care of you. Problem: it is a bit old and abandoned. The lack of staff or resources (or both) leads to serious shortcomings in terms of maintenance, cleanliness and service. Whether for the hotel or the restaurant, the quality/price ratio is not really satisfactory. Conclusion: The exceptional location, the tranquility, the large swimming pool and the dedication of Mr. Bisel, the owner, tip the scales in your favor. We spent a very pleasant week in this corner of paradise, where there are many walks to do, sites to visit, and where you can relax in complete peace.

A very nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very silent at night. Extremely friendly owner, good food and a very good breakfast. The house as such is a little bit older, with its charm. Things are maybe not top modern but everything worked well.
Hotel incredibly located in the heart of the quiet forest. The staff is extremely kind and attentive and always attentive to their customers. The room was very clean and the double bed very comfortable. We were able to happily try the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was very varied and very generous with local products (fresh eggs, fruit salad, Munster, pastries and so on). The evening meal was a real delight and gargantuan. I chose an escalope which took up half of my large plate and my wife a very generous sauerkraut. A delight. Thank you again to the whole team as well as our host for this warm welcome. This hotel is located in a truly beautiful, almost magical location. Ideal for disconnecting from everyday stress. In a nutshell: we recommend this hotel and hope to be able to return there during a future weekend in Alsace.

Very pleasant stay, a most charming welcome! The owner takes great care of his customers, everything is done according to the rules of the art, it's nice to find all these little touches forgotten by many hoteliers. I recommend this hotel without any worries and I think I would come back to stay there myself if I come back to the region.

Very welcoming with a complete, clear and precise presentation of the area, with support on surrounding activities. Very clean and comfortable, despite the white classified area. The WiFi offered by the hotel is a good alternative to stay in touch. Caution to reach the site but immediately comfortable with the environment.
