We arrived at the just a short drive from the hotel and were unsure as the is a big renovation being done to the outside but no worries as soon as we entered the building we were warmly welcomed by the host and owners of the place and the hotel was completely refurbished in simple and modern decor
Our bedroom smallish but good decor, comfortable and clean with an excellent shower room
The restaurant was equally well designed,the food was superb and the staff and host were charming and very professional (marshmallows were a treat) Breakfast was also of a high standard with an good choice
Will definitely choose to stay again

Catering on Monday only for hotel guests, dishes reheated in casserole dishes good
Don’t judge a book by the cover! This hotel looks very underwhelming from the exterior but inside it is nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The bedroom was small but well appointed with a very modern bathroom and an excellent shower. A comfy bed made for a good nights sleep. Evening dinner was from a set menu and very good value at €25 per head. A plentiful breakfast set us up well for our onward journey.

Le faisan doré is a charming little hotel! The room might have been a little small but was very cosy and had everything it needed! I especially praise the quality of the bed! I will always book it again!

The restaurant part of the operation is superb. The hotel is not. It looks like it is not finished with wires sticking out of the walls and ceiling, and unpainted areas. Room was spartan.

Very good first experience. Accustomed to bland hotels typed Booking.com, I had a great time and a very good short stay. Located in the middle of nowhere, this establishment is a real oasis. And the hospitality of the owners is worthy of the best. to renew without hesitation.

Really a nice place. Everything very clean and nicely furnished. We didn't eat there but it looked really good. The 4-bed room is really recommendable.
Difficult to comment much as the hotel and restaurant were closed for my visit. I was aware of this in advance so it is not a criticism just a statement. The rooms were booked at very short notice and did exactly what was promised.
