Hotel could not be position more center but if you come by car it may be very tricky to park nearby.

What a disappointment when we arrived in the room and found that the room would have been perfect for someone who had difficulty moving around and washing themselves. On the other hand, for a couple on a romantic trip this room could not suit us. It would have been normal to have been notified upon arrival and for booking to specify that this room was reserved for a couple with disabilities. We travel a lot, this is the first time we have found ourselves in this situation.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Obernai, historic house, cozy and extremely nice hotel management and ladies.
Room that overlooks the inner courtyard but opposite, noisy wheelie bin containers in the morning if the window is open, courtyard light at each passage because the hotel entrance is below. Impression of having paid the maximum room price but of having had a small room.
Very nice hotel, great welcome, very well placed in the city, very clean, everything is perfect. If we come back to Obernai we come back with our eyes closed.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel at the beginning of June. Excellent welcome from the whole team in this very well run family hotel. Everyone is caring. Hearty breakfasts. The room was large and comfortable with air conditioning and an elevator to access it. In short, an excellent stay in a hotel to recommend.
The hotel is well run and our room was small but nicely renovated and the bathroom cleverly decorated. Only our room (21) was directly above the reception and almost in the stairwell. This made it very noisy (plus the traffic noise from the cobblestone streets, we slept poorly as a result.

Very pleasant and quiet room despite the proximity of the nerve center of the village. I knew this hotel for having stayed there during my business trips. The hotel, very well located, brings satisfaction with well-equipped rooms, comfortable bedding, all in the heart of bars, restaurants and shops. Here we probably work as a family, which means that the welcome is very warm. For parking spaces there are always some going up the street towards the war memorial, then go a little higher on the right always going up.

We are used to shower and a bath tub takes in my oppinion to much time and too much water.

Hotel well located, the breakfast is complete, very good pastries. The room offered to us was small with a minimalist decor (can be reserved for short stays) because we knew this hotel for having stayed there several nights and we had kept an excellent memory of a room on the top floor very well decorated with exposed beams while this time the room and the bathroom were very cramped but very clean.

It does not warn customers when the whole area is closed on weekends for concerts and made pedestrian, forcing us to leave the car more than 1km away. After having laboriously reached the stated address we entered but it was their restaurant, a waitress immediately let us out in a rude way. The entrance is in another side street. We clearly didn't get any sleep due to the blaring music and once we finished the noise of dozens of drunk and cackling people. The room was very small and did not correspond to the description. Air conditioning impossible to use because positioned on the bed. There is an elevator but in any case there are always small flights of stairs to reach it and to move around the corridors. Very difficult for those with walking problems Paid breakfast 8 euros discreet. The only positive note is the kindness of the lady in charge of the breakfasts. In conclusion, bad experience

Really perfect stay in this hotel very well located in the center of Obernai. The welcome from both the management and the staff is very professional and warm. Our bathroom/comfort room was very spacious, a desk allows you to easily install a laptop computer and write, which is not always the case in some other establishments of the same category. The bathroom is large and very well equipped. The overall cleanliness is impeccable. The recent double-glazed windows provide excellent sound insulation even if night traffic is very limited. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff can't do enough for the customers. It should be noted the presence of a very modern and spacious elevator, which is an essential advantage for a disabled or elderly person. The lack of parking is not a problem, there are many free parking lots and in the city center the paid periods are low. We feel that tourists are welcome in this charming city that is worth the detour. For a first stay in Obernai, we were delighted and have already reserved a room at the Hôtel de la Cloche for several nights in December in order to take advantage of the Christmas markets in this beautiful region. You can go with your eyes closed in this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
