Bel hotel de campagne avec du caractère et de l'authenticité .
Un peu cher..... notamment en ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner où l'on ne propose pas d'alternative à la formule Buffet, unique .

The room was basic, but the bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was tired and dated and in need of refurbishment - it took us 10 minutes to work out how to use the shower and it only partially worked.
We had booked half board last year and the logis charged my credit card in June, even though on the logis website that we would pay on departure.
When we went for our meal we asked which menu we were to choose from and we were told that they no longer did half board (even though they had taken payment for it). The waitress offered us chicken followed by dessert. We said that wasn't what we had paid for, she said we could choose a main course from the a la carte menu. Both our meals came with sautéed potatoes and overcooked beans. I had steak which was fine, but my wife had a duck leg which had been overcooked and was tough and stringy and without any sauce.
I called the waitress over to say we were not happy with my wife's meal and she said that there was nothing wrong with it. She was very aggressive and caused a scene, so my wife walked out and did not return as she felt humiliated by her. Needless to say we had no dessert.
We had breakfast, which was ok, but not worth €14.50.
On checkout we told her that we believed we had been overcharged, and all we were told that we had paid 2020 prices, which included menus for €38, which they no longer did.
The room we had cost €89, the meals from the a la carte cost €21 & €25., so we calculated that we had €164, but had been charged €206.
They would only converse in French, even though they claimed to welcome English. The best offer they came up with was to not charge us for the over expensive drinks we had (€32). We were not happy with this, but realised that we wouldn't get any further.
Overall our experience was far from pleasant. We have stayed at many Logis in the past, as our son and family live in France, and not had any bad experiences.
The Logis we had used 2 weeks earlier was only 2 star, but was so welcoming and the food was superb.
We have never complained about any hotel or restaurant before, but we wanted to warn other guests about what could happen to them.
I wrote a negative review, about how we felt we had been overcharged, on Google as soon as we had left the restaurant in the evening.
A reply was posted by the Logis saying that people in the restaurant were all laughing at us because we were drunk. Clearly untrue, and an absolutely slanderous remark as my name was shown on the review.
This was the worst experience we have ever had in France.
Our son phoned them the following day and, as he is fluent in French, pointed out the issue with their response to my review. It was deleted 30 minutes later.
Because of Covid, we had not seen our son and family for 2 years and this experience was not what we wanted on our return journey.

Le point fort de l'établissement est le jardin tres agreable et tres fleuri.le jeune patron est avenant et disponible. Reste que la propreté pourrait etre améliorée (douche)et équipements du petit déjeuner. Le menu a 28 euros était enlevé des propostions... et le repas à la carte fort décevant... boissons chères.
