Tres bel hotel. Une ambiance tres cosy. Tres bon dejeuner avec de bons produits. Tout etait parfait.
Seule remarque. Que 4 places de parking. Mais possibilite se garer dans les rues environnantes.
I would like to share my view on the basis that it might help the Villa improve what they offer to customers rather than just be critical for the sake of it. I have already used the predetermined questions to respond but let me elaborate. For us though this was not somewhere we would expect to pay £250 per night for. The rooms are quite small (something that other reviewers elsewhere mention). The facilities offered are not of a standard we would expect. To be precise we were given a room clearly designed for someone with physical limitations e.g. a wheelchair user. Whilst it is good that the hotel can cater for these visitors it does constrain things for able bodied people. An example is that there was only one mirror in the room and that using the hairdryer provided meant sitting down as the flex was too short and the dryer itself was basic. The bathroom was a wet room which is from my experience not that good when you have no extractor and water will extend beyond the shower area (we had to mop floors with towels each time). The lavatory bowl was raised which again for a wheelchair user is good but for able bodied people is quite odd, especially if you are a short person.
The soap dispenser in the bathroom was not working and despite us leaving it dismantled was not replaced. Up and till the last day we only had one roll of lavatory paper. These are small but important housekeeping items.
The air conditioning in the room did not seem to maintain a cool temperature. Whilst it was hot weather for late April it was not comfortable overnight.
The tea and coffee facility in the room unfortunately did not include milk and although Iam sure people take both tea and coffee black it is not what we like. I did on a couple of occasions ask reception for milk and it was provided but not in a small jug.
We were also not told that we had been given this type of room, something that nearly always happens on the odd occasion this has happened before. I suspect the hotel was full but if we had been told in advance we may have asked to move rooms or cancel.
Whilst the breakfast offer was adequate it was limited as well as constrained by the size of the dining area. On a few occasions some items were not topped up for late arrivals.
Now to be positive. The ambiance of the building is lovely. The staff we came into contact were very friendly and helpful. The location is really good and whilst we did not have a car I applaud the fact that there were EV chargers and that if parking space at the hotel was full you could park for free on neighbouring streets. The bike rental arrangement seems to work well, although we did not use we did see a lot of others using this facility.
Finally. We did not raise the above during the stay mainly because, with the exception of the housekeeping issue, we felt that little could be done to change things and when we came to check out we had to leave in a hurry as we had trains to catch.
I hope the owners will use this feedback to improve their offer as Iam sure this would make other people stay so much better

Première découverte suite à un cadeau de nos enfants ; nous avons été sous le charme.
Un seul bémol, lors de la réservation , nous n avons pas apprécié de devoir donner nos numéros de carte bancaire pour valider la réservation du bon cadeau ; avec un retour par mail de confirmation indiquant le montant du séjour...
Excellent hôtel à dimension humaine. Accueil amical. Très bonne literie, bonne situation près de la plage et des commerces. Environnement calme, paisible et reposant.
Nous avions les fenêtres donnant sur le parking et la route c’était un peu décevant !
