Veel geld, voor een gemiddelde ervaring. Met name de dame die ons ontving zette de toon. Zij was niet prettig in het contact, onze boeking kon zij niet vinden. Dit gaf zichtbare ergernis bij deze dame, wat ons geen welkom gevoel gaf. Je gast op zijn gemak stellen, meenemen in het verhaal zou op zijn plaats geweest zijn.
De kamer was goed, ruim en schoon. Volgens de dame was het een luxe kamer. Wij vonden hem leuk gedecoreerd . Jammer dat zij de wifi code niet aan ons doorgaf , of zij dat er een koelkastje aanwezig was met daarin gekoeld water.
Zij had enige haast om weg te komen, dit zijn kleine dingen om gasten op hun gemak te stellen.
Nespresso apparaat werkte niet goed, jammer maar geen probleem. Netjes door ons gemeld.
Wij kwamen uit Bayeux waar wij een hotel hadden met een lagere prijs, met een wat eenvoudiger kamer maar waar hospitality bovenaan stond.
Verder naar zeggen het uitgebreide luxeontbijt buffet prijs 22€ pp, was gemiddeld. Niets bijzonders.
We waren speciaal voor dit hotel naar arromanches gekomen. Gekeken naar deze ervaring hadden we liever de hartelijkheid en voorkomendheid van onze accommodatie gehad.
In ieder geval was het interessant om Arromanches te ervaren.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and continually refreshed. We highly recommend this hotel!
Bel hôtel, très bon accueil et service sur place. La chambre n’est pas très grande mais bonne literie, salle de bain moderne manque un peu de pression dans la douche. Belle vue mer. Petit déjeuner varié et bon. Manque peut être de l’eau à disposition dans le mini bar. Bonne expérience.

Heavily overpriced hotel. Facilities not maintained well, eg shower at the pool out of operation. Breakfast limited, basic food such as yoghurt and cereals not available.

Hotel straordinario
A lovely hotel centrally located for visiting Normandy. It's set a bit out of the village, quiet and surrounded by fields. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is pastries, cheese and meats, fruit. Hotel does not have a restaurant, the village is a short walk to its many restaurants.
Abbiamo riscontrato che l’albergo era poco curato in , dal nostro punto di vista , per la mancanza di manutenzione nel giardino e l’accesso alle stanze era disagevole e anche la pulizia del bagno poteva essere più accurata. Colazione ottima , abbiamo richiesto l’uovo alla coque e era buonissimo. L’accoglienza alla reception ineccepibile

Dieses Hotel verspricht mehr als es ist. Es erinnert eher an einen Pauschalurlaub in der Türkei. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber.
Der Pool ist zu klein und ungepflegt. Beim Frühstück hätten wir uns gerne etwas Obst und Gemüse gewünscht. Es gab nur Äpfel und Bananen.
Keine Tomate oder Gurke. Was nun wirklich nicht die Welt kostet. Preis und Leistung stimmen daher aus meiner Sicht nicht.! Das Haupthaus ist an der Fassade Baufällig. Ich versteh auch nicht warum das nicht saniert wird. Der Parkplatz ist gut. Wir hatten alleinigs trotzdem eine schöne Zeit vor Ort.

Het was een fijn hotel met geweldige staff. Het zwembad is een welkome bijkomstigheid en de kamers zien er goed uit, al is het wel wat aan de kleine kant (wij hadden de regular)

Ein hübsches kleines Hotel mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach hinten raus, so dass wir auch den verwilderten Obstgarten und am Horizont den Atlantik sehen konnten. Ein wunderschöner Blick. Das Frühstück war für französische Verhältnisse reichhaltig und schmackhaft. Wir konnten jedes Mal auf der Terrasse sitzen. Der Swimmingpool ist angenehm und wenig belebt. Reichlich Parkplätze und auch die Möglichkeit für 18 € Pauschalgebühr den elektrischen Wagen aufzuladen.
The hotel was great, the arrival was also very good.
Some minor points, like offering dinner or lunch could have improved the score. At times the hotel also felt understaffed, with people running from the reception to the bar and back. People were very friendly and helpful, room was great. Missed a place to put suitcase. Love the chargers on the property.
WiFi did not work, also rerouted to error page.
Breakfast was great, personnel seemed to be doing much at once, sometimes took a while to notice us.

Nous avons trouvé sur Booking ce charmant hôtel que nous avons réservé pour notre anniversaire de mariage. Pour 325€ la nuit, le confort laissait à désirer. Dès que nous sommes rentrés dans la chambre (la N°12) avec ma femme et ma fille, nous avons été accueillis par une odeur nauséabonde cela provenait de la douche après mes vérifications. Je l'ai tout de suite signalé mais aucune réactivité de la part des hôtes. Ils n'ont même pas cherché à vérifier mes dires pour nous proposer une chambre plus adéquate. La dame de l'accueil m'a juste, je présume par politesse, qu'elle le noterait en me remerciant de l'avoir signalé. Enfin bref cela a gâché notre mini séjour, notre nuit et nous a fait perdre nos petites économies. Certainement que cet endroit est une adresse de choix incontournable à Arromanches mais voici l'expérience que ma petite famille y a vécu.
Nous avons globalement passé un bon séjour mais cet Hôtel est un 4 étoiles et la chambre était vraiment petite sans table de travail et avec seulement une chaise alors que nous étions 2. La salle de bain avait le nécessaire mais la encore elle était très petite sans aucun support pour accrocher les serviettes ou les sorties de bain. Un point positif était était le Petit Déjeuner proposant un choix varié avec des produits de qualité.
Good hotel
Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été déçus par notre séjour.
L'établissement est très beau et possède un réel charme, même si le jardin pourrait être mieux entretenu. Le bâtiment principal est magnifique, mais certaines infrastructures ne sont pas à la hauteur du standing annoncé. La pression de l'eau est insuffisante et l'accès aux chambres situées à l'étage est peu pratique.
Il n'y a pas de personnel dédié pour aider avec les bagages. Vous devez donc soit les monter vous-même dans les escaliers, particulièrement raides, soit attendre qu'un membre de la réception soit disponible, au détriment des autres clients qui patientent alors à l'accueil.
Le service en chambre était globalement correct, mais nous avons trouvé plusieurs moustiques écrasés collés aux murs et au plafond, ce qui est difficilement acceptable. De plus, le voyant lumineux du lecteur de carte dans la chambre est très gênant pendant la nuit.
Le plus décevant concerne cependant l'organisation autour de l'anniversaire que nous venions célébrer. Lors de la réservation, puis à plusieurs reprises dans les nombreux e-mails de préparation du séjour, j'avais indiqué que nous venions pour un anniversaire et que nous apprécierions une petite attention au petit-déjeuner ce jour-là.
À notre arrivée, personne à la réception n'était au courant. La veille au soir, nous en avons de nouveau parlé avec une réceptionniste, qui nous a assuré qu'elle transmettrait l'information et que tout serait organisé. Le lendemain matin, une autre employée était de service, n'avait reçu aucune information et n'a rien pu mettre en place. Elle nous a expliqué que ses collègues ne lui avaient rien transmis et qu'elle ne disposait d'aucun moyen pour répondre à notre demande.
En guise de compensation, le petit-déjeuner nous a été offert. Ce geste est appréciable, mais il faut également souligner que la qualité du petit-déjeuner est très insuffisante pour un hôtel 4 étoiles.
Afin de ne pas laisser cet enchaînement d'incidents gâcher complètement cet anniversaire, nous avons finalement commandé quatre coupes de champagne. Cela nous a permis de profiter malgré tout du moment, mais la facture de 64 € pour quatre verres reste difficile à justifier.
Cet hôtel bénéficie d'un excellent emplacement et possède un véritable potentiel. Malheureusement, le rapport qualité-prix est décevant et le niveau de service ne correspond pas aux attentes. Il semble manquer un véritable management sur place : l'équipe donne l'impression de travailler sans coordination, voire les uns contre les autres, et ce sont finalement les clients qui en subissent les conséquences.
Nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas recommander cet hôtel.
The hotel wanted to charge for 3 people while reservation was only made for 2 people (just because there was an extra bed in the room).
Only after a stiff discussion price was turned to "normal".
Pictures look far more attractive than in reality.

A gem of a hotel!
Everything was perfect. The area is quiet, although it is a 10-minute walk from the town center, but the advantage is parking and quiet. The hotel is great, the courtyard with seating areas is wonderful for sitting after a day of traveling. The room was great, and had everything you needed (except air conditioning, but that's France). The breakfast was perfect and tasteful, the staff was charming, efficient, and welcoming. There is even a pool for those who are interested.
rooms are not too big, an airco installation fails so the room temperature is quite high, no muskito screens so you can't open the window to cool in the night. The breakfast is a littlebit funny: only scrambelled eggs, no cooked or fried eggs. The jamjars were running on empty for 3 days; the price for the breakfast is 22 euro a person so 44 euro's for the two of us. So all together a littlebit strange.
Es ist ein wunderschönes gemütliches Hotel. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Toutes les prestations que l'on attend d'un 4* sont réalisées. Je compte revenir les jours suivants ma retraite.

It was very hot in France during our 6 nights stay, and we wished we had AC the 2 hottest nights.
Not enough staff to man this hotel adequately. Rooms ok but very stuffy and could do with AirCon.

Wonderful hotel in Arromanches near the Normandie beaches just outside of Bayeux. Beautiful property with pool and patio area for relaxation. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Room was nicely appointed with generous space, good bath amenities and great views. Clean and comfortable beds and great housekeeping services. Breakfast was adequate but not worth the Euro 22 per person we paid.

A good overall stay (3 nights), lovely grounds, a large patio area for bar drinks, friendly staff and great location for an easy walk into town and to the beach. Fundamentally we were disappointed with our room (16), the room was dark and did not have a window - instead a glazed door to a very small patio overlooking an overgrown orchard. The room did have a good en-suite which had a big window. But the room was poorly designed.

Le prix de la bouteille de jus de pomme de 1L que l'on trouve partout entre 3€60 et 4€00 nous a été facturé 10€ !!
Nous avons prix possession de notre chambre à 10H00 du matin et nous avons prix notre douche. Le flacon opaque de savon fixe dans la douche était vide....
This hotel is truly lovely, well located for the town of Arromanches and very welcoming.
Accommodation is very comfortable, clean and just as described. The swimming pool and garden seating area well presented. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very tasty with local and homemade products, a great start to the day.
We would definitely visit again.
