Great hotel… friendly staff … nice location close to the substation
We stayed at Hotel Le Royal Rive Gauche for 3 nights during our trip to Paris, and it was a fantastic choice!
First, the LOCATION! It really doesn't get much better than this. There are two different Metro stations within a 2–5 minute walk of the hotel, making it incredibly easy to explore Paris.
We stayed in a Superior Double Room, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was compared to many European hotel rooms. Both the room and bathroom were very clean, and we had plenty of space to feel comfortable during our stay.
Another thing we really appreciated was how quiet the hotel was. We never heard noise from other guests or the hallways. Even though our room faced the main street, we could actually sleep with the window open without any issues!
The only minor downside was the shower's water pressure, which wasn't the greatest. But honestly, that's not unusual in hotels, and it certainly didn't take away from our stay.
One of the BEST things about this location is the food! There are so many wonderful restaurants, cafés, and boulangeries just steps away. We had a delicious breakfast at Le Gymnase right next door for under €10, which was such a great find! And La Coupole is just down the street and absolutely worth visiting for an amazing dinner. Just make sure you have reservations!
We loved how central everything was. Whether we were heading out for a day of sightseeing, grabbing a fresh pastry, or enjoying a wonderful Parisian dinner, everything felt so convenient.
If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet hotel with a spacious room and an AMAZING location, Hotel Le Royal Rive Gauche is a great choice. We would absolutely stay here again!

Staff is all so friendly and helpful. They gave me directions to various places, telling me what Metro or bus to take, made an appointment at David Brown hair salon across the street which was a wonderful experience including my new haircut. Third time I have stayed here.
This is my second time staying in the hotel.

Hotel Le Royal is fantastic! It was recommended to us by our friend who stays there often. The hotel is in a wonderful location, beautifully designed, clean, comfortable and the staff are very helpful. It is located in a very safe area with public transportation (bus/subway just steps from the hotel. There are many excellent restaurants on the same block and in the area.
Also. It is easy walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens.

Chambre sale, pas de parking comme annoncé mais un pzrking privé tres cher. Trois fois avec insistance une demande de nettoyer notre chambre et quz nous partions dès 8:00 du matin pendant le petit dejeuner, une fois entree fracassante dans la chambre pendant ma toilette et enfin pendant mon rdv professionnel telephonique tout cela avant 10:30 et le fait de prevenir le staff de ne pas etre derangee!
Petit dejeuner à fuir. Viennoiseries sèches ! Jus d'orange ultra amer, cafe de mauvaise qualité !
I made this reservation for my family, and unfortunately, due to the sudden passing of a close family member, their stay had to be cut short. The hotel staff were incredibly understanding, compassionate and professional. Even though the booking was non-refundable, they reacted very quickly and arranged the refund without unnecessary complications. I am sincerely grateful for their kindness and support during such a difficult moment. Excellent service and a truly humane approach.
Ottimo Hotel in zona centrale. Ottimi i collegamenti Metro. Camere silenziose. Sala colazione bene attrezzata e luminosa.
This was a very nice place to stay and it was in a quieter area. The only problem was because of the warmer weather we had to leave the windows open at night and it was very noisy all night. The traffic, police and ambulance sirens all night and you could hear people walking by at all hours also.
There were great restaurants and cafes very near to us.

Je tiens tout d’abord à vous faire part de notre entière satisfaction concernant la qualité de votre hôtel. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le professionnalisme, l’amabilité et la disponibilité de votre personnel, ainsi que sa capacité à trouver rapidement des solutions lorsqu’un petit problème se présente.
Je souhaite également souligner la qualité et le confort des chambres que nous avons occupées. Ayant changé de chambre, passant de la chambre 22 à la chambre 14, nous avons toutefois constaté une différence notable de literie, celle de la chambre 14 nous ayant semblé nettement plus confortable que celle de la chambre 22.
Dans l’ensemble, nous sommes donc pleinement satisfaits de notre séjour et tenons à vous en remercier.
Cependant, je souhaite également vous faire part d’une remarque concernant le petit-déjeuner. Nous avons trouvé que les croissants et les pains au chocolat manquaient de fraîcheur et de qualité gustative. De même, la charcuterie proposée nous a paru assez ordinaire et sans réelle saveur.
Cette observation se veut avant tout constructive. Elle a pour seul objectif de contribuer à l’amélioration d’une prestation qui nous semble en retrait par rapport à l’excellent niveau de qualité que nous avons constaté dans le reste de votre établissement.

This is a mid-range hotel in a favorite neighborhood of Paris near Gare Montparnasse. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient but somewhat oddly sparse in amenities. No staff mentioned anything about breakfast or a bar, though we saw evidence that they existed. The room had what was needdd but nothing beyond - no coffee maker, no bottle of water, etc. The room was fine, even slight bigger by Paris standards so our stay was fine but nothing special.
De service van de medewerkers is zeer goed en klantvriendelijk. Echter, de be kwaliteit van de bedden holt achteruit. Ik kan het weten, want ik kom al vele jaren bij dit hotel. Mijn 1e bed had een zwaar doorgezakte matras wat bij mij een rugpijn veroorzaakte. Ik heb toen een andere kamer gekregen. Dat was een twin bed kamer. De kwaliteit van de matras was een stuk beter. Dan de badkamer. Ik had in beide kamers een douche in het bad zelf. Dit levert gevaarlijke en glibberige situaties op. Slechte zaak. Ik vraag mij af hoeveel % van de gasten (heel veel buitenlands) het bad daadwerkelijk gebruiken. Een mooie grote walk-inn douche, zonder bad, is door mij en anderen (heb ook met andere gasten gesproken) zeer gewenst. Weg met dat bad! Dan de manager... die heb ik in geen jaren meer gezien in het hotel. Jammer, want hij is wel een sympathiek iemand is mijn ervaring. Als je een klacht hebt kan je dat direct bij hem aangeven. Nu moet je dat doorgeven aan de balie- medewerkers, die dat op hun beurt ook weer moeten doorgeven aan de manager. Lastig en traag. Nogmaals, aan het personeel wat in het hotel werkt heb ik geen enkele klacht. Zij doen hun best en zijn zeer klantvriendelijk.
