Excelente choice in Caen. Perfect location, close to all my points of interest. Close to a cozy region of nice restaurants also. Staff was great. Room was nice, clean and confortable. Price was right.

Charming receptionist, very clean and stylish, nice spacious room. excellent bed, good lift. Nice area in town with restaurants and cafés. 10/10 value for money.

Chambre très confortable, très propre, avec suffisamment de serviettes.
Gros point positif: le volet électrique qui occulte parfaitement la lumière extérieure.
Seul petit bémol (mineur), la lumière automatique de la salle de bain s'éteignait par moment, alors que j'étais dans la pièce... Un souci qui se règle facilement avec de grandes gestes des bras :)

We had a brilliant 2 night stay at the Hotel du Chateau. It was right in the centre of Caen, very close to the Chateau and the port. The parking space available behind the hotel is very much appreciated and such an excellent price to pay for your peace of mind. The breakfast was adequate and the room was freshly painted, decorated and very clean an tidy. There was a great Sunday market just round the corner at the port and there were so many bars and restaurant to chose from and so close to the Hotel. The hotel staff were very warm and friendly too.

I'm traveling through France in 6 different places.
All of them are roughly the same price give or take a few $/€.
Hotel du Chateaux is by far the best in comparison.

To tell you how the experience exceeded, other properties had:
Shared bathrooms
Inadequate water heat and pressure
Poorly operated after hours code boxes.
Still using metal keys.

Your hotel is far ahead of these places

Hôtel très agréable et très bien situé. Accueil très aimable. Bonne isolation (pas de bruit dans la chambre alors que l'hôtel est en plein centre), fonctionnement du wifi parfait. Suggestions d'amélioration: rajouter une chaise dans la chambre et proposer des confitures en pot plutôt qu'en barquette

Very helpful staff, Bought gluten and lactose free products for my breakfast, talked about how to get around the town. Sent prompt messages to answer my queries about late check in.

We honestly loved the hotel. A friendly staff, good rooms, sufficient facilities and located in a vivid part, the centre, of Caen. really recommendable! The owner was very supportive in finding a suitable parking spot across the street of the hotel. 10 points!

Chambre très propre et calme, douche un peu petite. Petit déjeuner copieux. Ce que je retiens est l’accueil très chaleureux que nous avons reçu à notre arrivée et le couple charmant et attentionné qui le gère. Et c’est ce qui me fera revenir !

Booked hotel as it was advertised as having free car parking which turned out to not be true. Room clean but very dark with poor lighting. Pass sanitaire was not checked at reception on arrival
