Restaurant Plantevin

Very small room, was not at all what was advertised! the reversible air conditioning and bathroom heating did not work, fortunately at the end of October it was OK. We had already changed rooms (during my reservation, I had requested a view of nature and not of the parking lot, which was not taken into account upon arrival) I was very disappointed. A positive note for the restaurant (we chose half-board) and the service: the menu was perfect as well as the very attentive, smiling staff.

In a magnificent environment, the Plantevin hotel is an ideal place for an exceptional stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the view is breathtaking when you love nature. The restaurant offers a high-quality half-board menu, with a special note for the foie gras crème brûlée. The wine list allows you to discover the region at affordable prices. As for breakfast, the homemade savory and sweet offerings are a delight.

We stayed three nights with half board. Very warm welcome. Spacious room, very good bedding. Varied and abundant breakfast. Evening meal served in a very friendly manner with delicious dishes from starter to dessert. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi after our hikes. We recommend this hotel.

Our stay benefited from a warm and sunny first week of September. All our breakfasts and dinners were taken on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and absolute calm. The management and all the staff offered us a warm welcome and were always efficient. A big thank you to all. A hotel that I will recommend to all my friends, without hesitation! (Attention! For people with reduced mobility, note the absence of an elevator (2 floors) and numerous stairs.

Despite the heat wave, we had a perfect stay in this hotel which is located higher up cooler than in the plain and we appreciated the air conditioning of the rooms, of course the well-maintained and shaded swimming pool and the quality of the catering (I recommend half board)..great welcome, it allowed us to move in the morning to make visits and then at the very end of the afternoon and we did not suffer at all from the heat wave. A perfect address in every way.

A little corner of paradise in the Drôme Provençale. The comfort in the rooms is perfect, the breakfast and dinner terraces offer you a magnificent view of the Baronnies and Mont Ventoux at the corner of one of them. Impossible not to be seduced. The breakfast offers a lot of choice and the half-board dinner is just exquisite - don't miss the chocolate coulant 😋 The whole team is very available and smiling. This hotel has it all! A little extra: the nearby Nyons market is also worth doing.

Gourmet and relaxing holidays in a magnificent setting: The view is just exceptional! A caring team towards its customers. Special attention for Savana, Axel, Lucas and Emma who accompanied us during our stay: THANK YOU for your kindness and friendliness. We don't forget to also thank the people who took care of the cleaning: Our room was cleaned every day and smelled good of lavender ;-) As for the kitchen, what can I say .. a delight!

The hotel is quite charming and the setting beautiful. For those lucky enough to be on the terrace/pool side, the view is magical. The rooms are of a reasonable size and well equipped (fridge, coffee maker, teapot, etc.), the bedding is very comfortable and the bathroom functional. The breakfast buffet is varied (eggs, bacon, pastries, cereals, toast, jams…), special mention to the tarte tatin that day! We had the opportunity to dine there and enjoyed the sound of cicadas and then crickets.

Comfortable rooms, very quiet. Marvelous terrace enjoying a unique view. Impeccable quality of the restoration. The quality/price ratio may be a little high for the region, but justified in particular by the regular maintenance of this large, timeless building. Beautiful swimming pool and splendid garden. The sweetness of life has settled in Plantevin.

Not the best WiFi. Reception could be better, for example by pointing to the back entrance of rooms. No elevator so walking up stairs, no help offered.

We had an amazing time for our 20th wedding anniversary! Impressed by the panorama and the location of the hotel in the heart of the mountain. The staff is very warm and attentive. The hotel is tastefully decorated and well equipped. Access by GPS is very easy. Only downside: billiards fee! Thinking that this service was free like the jacuzzi and the swimming pool, we had planned, after dinner, to order a digestive while playing a game, but not having any change we had to give up this leisure, really a shame... THANK YOU for your welcome, we will warmly recommend you!

Everything is 5/5, far from the hustle and bustle of the cities, in a site that is worth the detour, heated swimming pool, restaurant terrace with a magnificent view. Why, on the other hand, this bland and boring music throughout the afternoon and evening? When you love nature, you love the calm that accompanies it!! Fortunately Management and Staff are perfect. My Peugeot's GPS ignores Propiac, so I strongly recommend WAZE whether from Mirabel or Buis les Baronnies.

Dinner on the terrace is served by attentive staff who know their stuff. Mention to Savanna for her availability and good humor. No extended menu, two starters, two main courses and desserts. We opted for a revisited pissaladière, excellent with its candied onion and tartlet, then with roast beef, melting in the mouth with its accompaniment, in particular a superb mashed parsnip. Simple, but very good. What about the wine list... We will definitely be back and recommend it.

Provencal cuisine, very tasty, in harmony with the setting, and the origins of the chef who is the third generation to run the hotel. A welcoming and sympathetic team animates the hotel. Superb stay in half board. Everyone at the hotel is welcoming, smiling and very helpful. The setting is beautiful and relaxing. The heated pool is great. The kitchen is excellent, we ate very well during our stay.

Ich reise seit über 30 Jahren regelmäßig in die Provence, aber ein solch schönes Hotel hatte ich noch nie. Kein unpersönlicher geschniegelter Luxusschuppen, sonder ein drei Sterne Traditionshaus mit ganz viel Herz und Verstand. Die Lage mit dem Blick ist unglaublich schön; wenn man abends auf der Terrasse speist und die Umgebung (und der Ventoux) von der untergehenden Sonne in warmes Licht getaucht wird, ist das geradezu märchenhaft... Das Restaurant ist hervorragend, die Weine (und die Weinberatung) sind sehr gut und auch das Frühstück ist prima. Herzliches und competentes Personal. Wir waren begeistert und kommen gerne wieder!
