Hotel remarquablement situé au coeur de la Forêt de Perseigne .Acueil particulièrement chaleureux et souriant . Notre grand chien a été très bien accueilli et aurait pu même venir au restaurant, bien que nous ne le faisions pas habituellement . Service particulièrement efficace et dans la bonne humeur ! Chambre et salle de bains parfaites .Salle de restaurant vaste , silencieuse et très confortable ; ambiance chaleureuse , avec une immense cheminée particulièrement appréciable par ces temps de pluie ! La cuisine du Maître Restaurateur est tout à fait exceptionnelle ! Inventivité raisonnable dans le respect de la tradition locale et quantités parfaitement équilibrées depuis les Entrées jusqu'aux Desserts ! Venus en couple , nous avons passé en week-end de rêve , magré un temps maussade ,mais la campagne çà se mérite ! Une adresse hautement recommandable , notamment pour la Gastronomie !

Chambre propre et rénovée, bon menu en soirée etape, ras sur l'ensemble, très bon rapport qualité, prix. Je recommande cet endroit pour vos étapes.

A beautiful hotel in an amazing setting with a well appointed restaurant.

Beautifully located, right on the lake. Very nice room, very clean. The food was really good, but there was only a menu for 45/55 €, unfortunately no menu with individual dishes. Eating on the terrace with a view of the lake is an experience! Large wine selection. Overall we really liked it.

Be prepared for a gourmand dinner and you certainly won't be disappointed! The quality of care and service is superb!

It was a perfect place to stop over on our way home.
The breakfast included was excellent and the evening meal was simply outstanding for service, quality and quantity.
Strongly recommend the hotel and its situation is ideal for some unspoilt countryside.

Amazing food from a talented chef!

Beautiful building, nicely located, no air conditioning in the room, I was told at the reception that there was no air conditioning in the rooms Temeirstaling experience, was our first time but there will not be a second visit, a pity.

The owners and staff obviously work hard to make a success of this hotel in lovely rural surroundings. It makes a very good overnight stop when travelling in France. The prices seemed reasonable.

Hôtel charmant dans la campagne au bord d'un superbe étang , au calme. Bâtiment un peu "dans son jus au niveau des chambres" mais vite oublié par l'accueil, le service et la cuisine.

Very friendly and authentic hotel

Our first time at this hotel and overall we were pleased. A lovely location, a characterful room and a good meal in the evening. we were welcomed on arrival and shown to our room. However, in our opinion the hotel let itself down a bit with the room as there was no plug in the basis, a half roll of toilet paper with no obvious spare, and no water glasses. We were slightly concerned at the prices of the various set menus (unfortunately no a-la-carte) but in the event they had a small menu that suited us just fine - it was also delicious. Would we go back? Yes, we would.

Comfortable hotel, helpful and attentive staff, delicious food. Lots of extras. Independent hotels always surprise (in a good way)

The Receptionist greeted us warmly and showed us to our room. She served us pre dinner drinks as we then watched her laying tables outside for dinner; checking in guests; showing them to their rooms; serving more drinks to new arrivals. She was the only waitress looking after the dinning room and outside terrace. She was quick and efficient but she was so busy it was uncomfortable to watch and spoilt our dining experience.

Nice property on the lake. Nice room with character and quiet .. too bad no air conditioning in the room in this heat wave and no hot milk for breakfast and no one to complain to.
