Stayed here for the first time on route. Tried many times before but always fully booked. Have been going there for dinner for more than ten years and as always very friendly staff. Room was very good (studio) and nice views but we knew that already. A++

Cet hôtel/restaurant un exemple que pourrai suivre bien des établissements. Un accueil et un service gentils, agréables, competents. Un lieu très sympathique avec plein d'endroits pour se poser et boire un coup. Un restauration de bonne qualité et de haute tenue, malgré un prix très raisonnable. Bref faire mieux sera difficile.

I have visited La Truite for over four years with my wife who died in December. It was the first place I thought of to begin my new life. It is a lovely place to experience its calm ambience.

Il est rare de trouver un hôtel restaurant aussi agréable. C'est très simple : tout est parfait. Les membres de la famille Marcenac sont passionnés par leur métier et ont su s'entourer d'un personnel d'exception. Quant au lieu, il est paradisiaque.

A lovely hotel in a pretty village. Food was excellent. We had a studio which was spacious and very comfortable. Bed was very comfy. Highly recommended.

Booked this as a special night for my husband who had recently been in hospital. I couldn’t have chosen a better place, everything about it was great: the location, the hotel, the staff, and especially dinner. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Le cadre est magnifique et les chambres et salles de bain sont parfaitement bien équipées. A noter : le personnel d'accueil et de service est exceptionnellement prévenant et souriant. Côté restauration, nous avons évidemment apprécié la richesse de la carte, les spécialités et les produits régionaux de qualité. Une suggestion cependant : ""alléger"" le menu du soir pour la 1/2 pension en proposant une formule plus light que le menu ""Logis"", par exemple, entrée/plat ou plat/dessert. Merci pour ce court mais très agréable séjour.

Excellent staff and good restaurant. The room (14) was okay but a bit 'dated'. Investment needed to justify trois cheminees. However quality linen and clean. Overall a very nice hotel. Thank you

Heel fijne locatie, voor ons als stop naar de Pyreneeën. Mooi gebouw, heerlijk zwembad en eten, goede bedden in enigszins gedateerde kamer. Wel met airco. Vriendelijk hardwerkend personeel. Leuke locatie voor rondwandeling langs de Lot e.d. Goede prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding.

Stayed last year and came back. Only real criticism was that the restaurant staff seemed to be too busy to provide good service. Requests for wine were forgotten twice and we waited 45 minutes to have our food order taken . A waitress apologized and said that the evening was ""a catastrophe""! Otherwise we love the hotel and will return.

Have stayed here every year since we first discovered this lovely spot. Delightful setting, excellent restaurant with unusually wide choice on menu, and first rate service.

Ook onze derde bezoek aan La Truite Dorrée voldeed geheel aan de verwachtingen. De standaard kamer is simpel maar adequaat en schoon, het eten is traditioneel, erg lekker en copieus. De wijnkaart zou van mij iets beter kunnen. De ontvangst is buitengewoon vriendelijk.

Très agréable mais court séjour

We have stayed here 4 times before en route to Spain. It is our hotel of choice in the Cahors area. Very helpful staff and lovely area to walk in.

Alles positief, behalve slapen in een bij huis van het hotel aan het water viel tegen. De waterval maakt dermate veel geluid/lawaai dat slapen met open raam onmogelijk is, alsof je in een zware storm zit.

Wij boekten één nacht als tussenstop op onze reisroute, maar willen graag zelf terugkomen. Ook geven we dit adres zeker door aan vrienden die een vakantie adres zoeken!
