The hotel was very clean. Large car park and very quiet. The beds were very comfortable.

Un accueil au top. Chambre agréable, propre et la literie confortable. Quant à la restauration, c’est du haut niveau pour un prix plus que raisonnable.
Nous gardons cette adresse sans notre répertoire pour une prochaine visite et le recommandons à 400%.

C’est un établissement très bien, mais ce qui me gêne c’est le manque d’amabilité du patron. Il est à l’image de la bâtisse à l’extérieur. Si l’intérieur est parfait, c’est pas le cas de l’extérieur qui laisse à désirer.
Donc je reviendrai dans cette endroit uniquement pour le travail et seulement pour 1 nuit en soirée étape.

This hotel has been a favourite of ours for many years. Because of the pandemic, this was our first visit in more than 2 years. During that time, work has been carried out indoors to renew some of the tired features and the hotel is clean and modern. The service offered by the management has remained personal and professional. This logis should be given higher ratings on both accommodation and restaurant levels. It is certainly much better than higher rated establishments which we have used.

Lovely place, warm and efficient welcome and lovely dinner. Just one suggestion - a rail on the stairs would be very helpful for those of us with some minor mobility issues! But that’s only negative!

The room was adequate but a little in need of a paint. However the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and the dinner was excellent. We felt the dinner compensated for the slightly 'tired' room and we would definitely revisit this Logis.

This hotel is rather run down and presumably has suffered from lack of customers during Covid. The restaurant is good and the quality of the food was fine. The accommodation (room 16) was very poor. Very basic room, stains from damp on the ceiling and poor bathroom. I am sorry, but I cannot recommend this place.

Excellent stay, our only complaint would be how long it took for the hot water to arrive in the bathroom.

Hôtel tenu par un jeune couple très sympathique. La rénovation est en cours (salle de bain terminée, chambre encore à repeindre, couloir vers les chambres encore à refaire, salle de restaurant ok mais salle du petit-déjeuner un peu triste). Chambre très calme et bonne literie. Très bon repas au restaurant et très bon petit-déjeuner.

Paul and Julie who run the hotel are extremely helpful particularly if you only have a poor understanding of the French language.
The hotel is in the countryside and is very quiet away from the Hussle and bustle of a town hotel which can be very noisy.
Our friends have a house in the Charente region and we visit them every year and have styed at the ille de sees every year for 13 years both on the way to the Charente and on the return journey
The food is excellent and served with a smile

We use regularly for our journeys by car to and from the south-west. So far they have never failed us, and are always very welcoming, with a good restaurant too.

Un jeune couple accueillant et souriant pour un établissement bien au calme et un excellent repas.
Le confort des chambres est satisfaisant.

Extérieur magnifique conforme aux photos. J'ai été déçue par la chambre (bon matelas cependant). Les chambres présentées sur les photos du site semblaient plus modernes. Les rideaux trop long qui trainent par terre... ne me semble pas très bon en terme d'hygiène. Manque de patères pour suspendre les serviettes dans la salle de bain.

Très accueillant, en déplacement professionnel la soirée étape est une bonne prestation ! Je recommande le restaurant 👍

Nous avons choisi cet établissement pour fêter nos 40 ans de mariage et nous avons eu le plaisir de trouver un hôtel tout à fait charmant et un restaurant qui propose un repas raffiné et délicieux.
