What a lovely hotel with friendly efficient staff.

Hôtel très bien .. entrées très bonnes... pour le poisson trop cuit,et sec (du BAR ) pattes avec sauce bleu Auvergne pas top ! dommage .......et dessert très bon .

Très bel hôtel bien tenu et propre. Personnel sympathique et compétent. Situation exceptionnelle face au viaduc de Garabit. Restauration de qualité, on s'est régalé. Salle de restaurant avec une superbe vue. Possibilité de réserver directement, c'est moins cher.

One of the best hotels in Cantal!

This is a delightful hotel, well run by helpful, friendly staff. It is in an ideal location, close to major roads. The room was very comfortable, lovely linen and spotlessly clean. The evening meal was wonderful, great food, prepared with imagination and skill. Lovely gardens to sit and enjoy a drink whilst admiring the beautiful countryside. We were only staying for one night, but would be very happy to do far more!

I found that our room was a little cramped, especially in the bathroom, but I know that they are redoing the rooms, this winter it will be the last installment. In terms of the restaurant everything was delicious, and the location of the hotel is very good and as we were lucky enough to have magnificent weather we were able to take full advantage of the swimming pool.

friendly and professional welcome - very nice view of the valley and viaduct and beautiful garden with swimming pool and petanque courts - very clean as a whole, rooms are not too bad - beautifully decorated restaurant with well-trained staff and service with a very nice menu, excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices, highly recommended, we go there every year for an overnight stay with dinner and we have never been disappointed - the lady is a very correct, charming and professional lady

Excellent hotel for a stopover or even longer. We stayed in a suite, seperate lounge, bedroom, walk-in shower room and toilet. Staff very helpful and polite as I don't speak the language.

We have stayed here before and love the setting and location.
I have to say that the welcome was not as good as previously . We had pre booked a room with a lake view and were given one with virtually no view! We asked for this to be changed and it was done after 10 minutes with a lot of muttering in French!!
The other staff were absolutely charming and this helped restore my opinion. The evening meal was delicious.
Lastly - please install air conditioning in the rooms as we have travelled up and down France in the last 3 weeks and it has been essential and all other hotels had it.
Departure process was efficient.

We came for the 2nd time because we liked this hotel so much in September 2022. Nice reception, neat room with all the trimmings. Neat bathroom with nice towels. Lovely swimming pool, nice terrace. The restaurant is fantastic: beautiful view, great food and very hospitable employees. Recommended: go for dinner a little later in the evening, then you can enjoy a magnificently lit viaduct at dusk.

We had reserved a table for 4 people. We called the hotel shortly before arriving to let them know we would be arriving at 8:22 p.m., service being listed as 7-8:15 p.m. They refused to serve us which forced us to come back to St Flour and wasted a lot of time. No offer to fix the situation. This is the first time we have seen a restaurant unable to adapt to being 7 minutes late!

We enjoy staying in this hotel since more than 30 years. The service is smiling and efficient. Rooms are agreable with very nice vew and the food is good

Ideal stopover to rest on the way, enjoy the remarkable site and the very good food. Thank you for having kindly welcomed our dog, for having reserved a table for us on the (indoor) terrace to admire the sunset, and for indicating where to park our car under cover. The bathroom deserves a good refresh (shower rather than bath, noisy and continuous VMC, HS radiator).

I did not stay. I sent 3 emails to your cancellation email address info@logis-de-france.fr two weeks before date of stay and each email was undelivered saying “the recipients email did not respond “.,I then phoned the hotel to cancel but I was still charged. I will not be using Logis again.

Food is exquisite . The view is amazing. I have been coming to this hotel for years . It just needs a bit of modernisation in the rooms I think but that’s just my opinion. There is no mini fridge , no kettle for hot drinks.
The pool is very nice and clean with a beautiful view.
I will go back as soon as I can.

Unsurprisingly, like every year -> perfect. A space to recharge the car, a surprise upgrade (and free of charge!) to a suite because we asked for a cot at the last minute and the manager wanted to give us more space. The class. 👍👍 As for the table, it is always so refined, helped by impeccable service and formidable efficiency. Looking forward to next year for a longer stay!

Everything was perfect. The location, close to the highway. Parking in front is very convenient. Animals are accepted. The room is very pretty and the dinner was delicious as well as the breakfast with pastries, fresh bread and homemade jam.

Minimalist and unfriendly reception. Very poor sound insulation, it feels like living with the occupants above. Glazed and closed dining room, it is suffocating, same for the breakfast room. No outdoor service (aperitif, breakfast) , however the view of the lake is magnificent. The positives: friendly restaurant staff and good quality food and a very pleasant swimming pool.

Exceptional location facing the Garabit viaduct. Park and terraced garden with swimming pool and lovely view. Having a single room with very small bathroom, but separate toilet, I can not judge the double rooms. But it was nicely decorated and pleasant, very comfortable bedding. Very friendly welcome. The hotel is very clean but is getting old. The furniture and decoration date from the 80s/90s and may need to be changed. The restaurant is very pleasant and the food is really good.

The hotel is very accessible and well situated for an overnight stay when travelling in France. It is clean and very comfortable, with great views both front and back.. The furnishings are of a high standard, and we ate an excellent dinner.

Our room was quite large, but the bathroom area was tiny by comparison. It was difficult to dry oneself after a shower due to very limited space. The toilet was separate, but very small too. The bed was equipped with a thick duvet, which in summer is not useful! The restaurant was very good - evidenced by the number of people there on a Saturday evening. The wine prices were on the high side.

We chose this hotel because of it's location, the view from the restaurant was stunning. We were given a warm greeting on arrival and our stay was excellent throughout.

In a superb setting, the establishment is perfectly kept, large well-appointed room. Pleasant staff, good meal and excellent breakfast. What fun!
