Bon séjour cuisine de qualité cadre sympathique petit bémol sur les oreillers ainsi que sur l acoustique très mince entre les différentes chambres

Charmante escale dans cette auberge nichée toute seule au col de Moreno, ambiance conviviale et décontractée, repas typique excellent, chambre calme, environnement propice à une balade dans les bois, nous avons apprécié.

Nothing to report

No check in until 6pm. No facilities whatsoever until 6pm. Couldn’t even use the toilet.
When we did check in we had to eat at 7pm because the staff wanted to watch the France All blacks rugby game.
When we did eat the food wasn’t up to standard. The ingredients were good but badly cooked.
My wife’s trout dish was unseasoned and inedible. We gave it to the dog.
The veal main course was badly cooked (as if the real chef wasn’t present). My wife’s was over cooked and half of mine was raw.
It seems like the chef was watching the rugby rather than looking after their customers or a sous-chef had been left in charge.
We stayed at this location because of its gourmand rating, we were very disappointed and would not stay here again.


The next night we stuck to dishes that didn’t need cooking, as we didn’t want to risk further disappointment.

very warm welcome, competent staff, convenient location for exploring the Puy de Dôme area. The catering is very good: products, presentation, cuisine. kudos to the cook.

Pretty inn with the charm of yesteryear. The staff is competent and very friendly, attentive to the customer. The cuisine is excellent, perhaps a little greasy, but it is possible to taste fish. A small downside, for the cleaning in the room which could have been more thorough, but that did not upset our stay.

A stopover on the holiday route. A hotel night in a duplex at the Col de la Moreno for a fair price. The room is simple but all kitchen equipment available. And even board games. The restaurant was delicious. In short, it was perfect.

Very professional and welcoming staff. Restaurant not to be missed! Only small downside concerning the soundproofing which leaves something to be desired. I recommend this address.

A very nice discovery in all respects. How cool during the heat wave! A table based on local resources, varied and very well prepared. A pleasant site close to the main tourist attractions. A well run hotel. The staff are welcoming and efficient.

Welcome reception without problem upon our arrival. The room is simple in terms of equipment, but the bedding is very comfortable. Wifi out of order at the time of our stay, be careful, the network does not pass through the building, but it is not very serious!
