Very good stay in this hotel in the middle of the forest!

Sleeping area was good, bathroom needed renovation, stones and bath screen had mold.

Short but very pleasant stay, perfect for relaxing after a long trip, the menu offers quality dishes; tasty and seasonal. Very clean and warm room, soothing and calming.

Quality hotels and restaurants. Only one downside: impossibility of opening the fanlight to cool an attic room one evening on the canal cule.

As for the tiny charlotte chocolate cherries ... we are bordering on dishonesty In addition, no adaptation possible for a child (7 years old) except to take the menu at 47 euros which was offered to us and which we were obliged to to accept the few à la carte proposals that come to the same thing. Breakfast: no buffet, imposed basket correct but nothing more, double ration per person of mini butter portion but only 3 tiny ramekins of jam (honey does not exist!) A glass of squeezed orange juice. Hot drink of your choice of course 39 euros for the 3 of us. The price of this service is still excessive Too bad the place is superb and the establishment has assets

Nice welcome, clean room but a bit small and no view (skylight)

1st bedroom offered very disappointing: huge cobweb at the entrance door of the outbuilding, musty smell, tiny bedroom where you can't stand everywhere, skylight in a deplorable state - 2nd bedroom pleasant - but more expensive -despite the absence of a kettle and blocked shower drain. very dirty outdoor access ramp and park benches. ashtray outside filled with cigarette butts and never emptied during the 3 days of our stay. Breakfast consisting of 1 glass of orange juice, 1 SINGLE tea bag, 3 gluten-free rolls and a 2cm diameter cup of jam ! disappointing for a "logis de France"

We stop at this hotel every time our itinerary passes nearby, because we appreciate the quality of the welcome as much as the friendliness of the service or the very relaxing setting, or even the high-quality restaurant! Thanks to Mr. Malnou and his team!

Hotel le Troncais is beautifully situated in nature, beautiful garden. Beautiful terrace where I had a delicious meal. The room was in an old outbuilding with wooden floors, very dated and incredibly hot. There was a fan I was too small to open the windows but owner kindly helped to do this. I felt trapped, but the bed was fine. Room was clean but in need of renovation. The entire outbuilding is in need of renovation. The price-quality ratio is not right.

Superior room stained carpet, smell of disinfectant, bedside tablets missing from photo site, bathroom from another era / change of room obtained but low-end service: very low pressure shower, weak and poorly fixed lighting, price posted on door dating from 2021, no soundproofing. smell humidity common areas, noise from the road frequented by trucks Restaurant without menu contrary to the display on site, fourth range kitchen without smell or flavor ', exorbitant price. Discussion with the boss who justifies everything as normal: room 5 said to be higher than 95€ would be the only one not renovated following covid, the site is not up to date because not had time, the hotel has been three stars for 40 years etc .... What to flee the homes of France in the future !!!

Unfortunately there was no tourist menu.
The room was small and some bathroom fixtures were broken but the overpowering damp odour was a disappointment

Everything is there for a pleasant stay in this hotel: quality of the place and the building, good reception of guests, comfortable rooms and tasty meals. I recommend and will come back with pleasure.

Welcome to this hotel and excellent restaurant. The room, on the other hand, was uncomfortable, small and not very clean (dated and with cobwebs). Very quiet hotel, ideally located in the middle of the Tronçais forest.

The instructions for our late arrival were very clear. The bedroom with the extra bed was ready and very inviting. We had a very good night with the family.

Correct but not personalized welcome; which is a shame given the organization of this Logis, because it would have allowed us to avoid certain situations. Nice and very quiet place. We had taken a gourmet stopover formula, but as we had booked several lodgings for a stay of a certain number of days, we had forgotten this choice. We were reminded once of our choice at dinner and having started to consume; even if the boss offered to start all over again, it seemed a bit complex. The formula is indeed interesting given the price of the dishes and the breakfast. A very good quality of restoration, but extremely long service. As for the vitamin breakfast at €17, the quality of certain products was very good, but the choice was made and served by the restaurant owner. No buffet. Regarding the bedroom, no storage shelves, but two drawers in the bedside table. As for the bathroom, toilet badly placed and not in very good condition. Very slippery shower. Therefore we put a towel so as not to fall.

A lovely Hotel with beautiful rooms and lovely staff and host. The food was excellent and the decor in restaurant, terrace and bedroom was all to a very high standard. Immaculately clean everywhere and we had a delightful stop as we arrived early and had time for a walk in the forest and around the lake in the afternoon, and a great meal in the evening. Breakfast is continental only, but we enjoyed waiter service which was a change from the Buffet style everywhere else - very relaxing!

This is a lovely hotel set in a beautiful area. We have stayed before and the restaurant is excellent, although this time being a Monday it was not open -which was a bit disappointing. However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made most welcome

Excellent location for visiting the Tronçais forest. Many hiking possibilities nearby. Quiet, refined hotel, located in lush greenery. Very pleasant room, sophisticated decor, quality bedding. Very good restaurant, with a special mention for the desserts.

Ideal for a short quiet stay.

Very nice stopover in this charming hotel located in the heart of the Tronçais forest. The service and the room were superb. In the restaurant, the dishes were good but I was surprised and disappointed by the insufficient quantity of meat served for the main course (corn of rib of beef at 29 euros)
