La chambre est tres confortable, spacieuse et decoree avec soins. J ai apprecie
la literie.
Le jardin est tres beau, bien agencé avec une grande variete d espèces florales invitant au repos et la meditation.
Les repas sont composes avec goût et succulents. Nous avons dîné dans la salle à manger dont le cadre est original, lumineux et coloré. J ai beaucoup aimé l esthetique de cette belle pièce.
Nous avons passé un excellent sejour où nous aurons plaisir à revenir.

Very nice hotel at the gates of Largentieres, between Cevennes and Ardèche. The recently renovated rooms are very pleasant, bathrooms perfect. The magical surprise will be to jump into this beautiful infinity pool surrounded by lush vegetation...later the dinner outside under the enormous yew trees makes the stop unforgettable, even if the plate will not leave the same unforgettable memory (a shame ). Thanks again to the owners who are very involved in the dynamism and relaxed atmosphere of the house. Well done to them!

I came for 4 days and the welcome was perfect. The managers and their teams are very friendly and professional and do everything necessary to make us feel good there. The hotel is surrounded by trees and vegetation. The environment around the swimming pool is really a plus and easily accessible from the rooms which are spacious and very clean. Lots of space, inside and outside, to enjoy good meals. Very good breakfast. It is also an ideal place if you want to visit the Grotte Chauvet or the Gorges which are not very far away. A haven of peace to relax. I highly recommend this place.

The holm oak is the ideal place to rest, that's what we were looking for during our stay. The welcome, the staff, the cleanliness everything is perfect. What an incredibly nice reception. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere and wonderfully sweet staff. The location is wonderfully quiet but still central enough to go out. The breakfast buffet is fine, not very extensive but tasty. Lunch and dinner are fantastic, everything is prepared with care and served with an eye for detail. Even the drinks are a party. The rooms are not big but spacious enough and clean. We enjoyed. An absolute must.

This hotel offers a very relaxed ambiance, beautiful view, relaxed garden with swimming pool. Dinner was excellent and host very friendly and helpful. You can also charge your EV during your stay. Really recommended if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere and good restaurant during your stay.

The setting, the calm, the swimming pool, the welcome, the comfort, the charm, everything is perfect in this hotel. But we were disappointed by the meal, which is expensive (€35 for the evening menu), with little choice and above all expensive for the cuisine served, which is nothing extraordinary. An example, for dessert, the menu announces without precision a strawberry soup. We imagine, since it is the beginning of summer, fresh strawberries arranged with taste and originality. But it's just a small cup of strawberry jam diluted in what appears to be kirsch, so not the slightest taste of strawberry, for €10. is unjustified, while everything else is really perfect

A very friendly welcome, a perfect room for us and an evening meal that we enjoyed. In addition the small balcony for my lover and the icing on the cake, a Triumph fan at the reception! We will definitely come back... Keep it up.

The frame is good. The staff that you may meet in the hotel do not always speak French well. It is a family company and therefore in some aspects it may lack professionalism. Breakfast for the asking price of 15€ is not worth it. The day of our departure we asked to still enjoy the pool in the afternoon noon, it was not possible we had to leave for noon. It's frankly not very friendly or commercial. We would surely have taken consumption and for information we were a maximum of 4 people around the pool during our stay. So don't come and tell us that we are going to overload the surroundings of the swimming pools.

We went back for the 4th time, we love this place to recharge our batteries with an exceptional setting. Thank you to the managers for their welcome and thank you also to Théo and Sacha for their kindness.

BIS REPETITA… My children (11 and 14 years old) wanted to come back this year, we are not disappointed! Very nice hotel and very welcoming and friendly staff. Quiet and relaxing setting, well maintained garden and swimming pool. Excellent quality cuisine, but the menu is a little 'restricted' if you stay there for more than a few days…. (the half-board does not offer a second choice and is sometimes a bit 'vegetarian'). Ideal for discovering the Ardèche and its many small villages of character (Balazuc, Chassier, La Baume, etc.), for hiking or strolling (Parc des Monts d'Ardèche in Jaujac) or other activities (canyoning, canoeing, etc.). Or simply a swim in the river 5 minutes from the hotel. see you next year!

Very good four-night stay at the Le Chêne Vert hotel: location, services, comfort, welcome, catering, staff, musical entertainment, very nice outdoor space. Too bad to see that, like everywhere, some users are too disrespectful of others: noises/cries of children in the swimming pool, after midnight or early in the morning; or some deckchairs occupied/reserved most of the day by towels only. A magnificent accommodation that I recommend and which has absolutely nothing to do with the lack of manners of some people.

Evening service sometimes a bit long. We had a very good room with a balcony, then a good standard room but a bit narrow bathroom (lack of space to close the door from the inside). Le Chêne Vert is a very beautiful gite in a heavenly setting. Certainly far from the shops but that's what makes it charming. We are calm! The terrace and the garden with swimming pool are very well maintained. It is a small haven of peace. The breakfast is hearty, gourmet. The meals are excellent, congratulations to the chef😊 I had a room with a large double bed and very clean. Finally, the team is rather young, welcoming, full of humor and advice for visiting the surrounding towns and identifying bathing spots. We had a very pleasant time. I very much hope to return there soon!

A very nice boutique hotel. The staff is warm and competent. The facilities superb and the dinner was excellent. We were very pleasantly surprised, we will come back with great pleasure and highly recommend this establishment. Thanks again!

the two hoteliers are on the small onions for us and they offer a reduced menu with fresh and quality products. Eating next to the fountain and pool is a great pleasure

A small haven of silence and greenery, the rooms recently redone. Nice pool and good food. The breakfast room is a little "canteen" otherwise the price is slightly above the prices charged in 3 stars. This is the amount usually paid for a 4 star hotel, with superior service provided.

Heavenly place. Decent room. Price of dishes a little high Average breakfast, but Management takes great care of its customers. Breakfast to review at the level of coffee which is more than light.

A la carte evening meals are a bit pricey

Très bel endroit, un accueil agréable. Chambre correcte et salle de bain fantastique (chambre avec balcon) Attention les chambres donnant sur la piscine donnent également sur la terrasse du restaurant... Dormir fenêtre ouverte n'est pas vraiment possible. Mais fermée cela devient correct.

A very good quiet hotel. The room was very clean, as well as the bathroom. The swimming pool is well located and quiet. Having had no meals or breakfast, I cannot comment on this. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The room with balcony view on Mountain and swimming pool was of high quality. Comfortable bedding. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Swimming pool and beautifully wooded garden to enjoy the calm of the Ardèche. Dinner on site a little expensive but quality.
