Accueil chaleureux et pro pour une étape bien reposante. Le repas était très bon et le cadre absolument charmant. Merci!

Soirée étape décevante.
Hôtel cosy oui mais uniquement t par l’extérieur qui doit être bien agréable en saison du fait de la rivière et de la terrasse.
Pour le reste, la chambre très très très vieillotte. Salle de bains avec lino et papier au mur même dans la douche, hydrofugé sûrement mais quand même.
Matelas très fin. lit bas, TV petite et trop haute. Oreillers bcp trop épais ! Chambre 5
Dîner correct mais pas de choix du tout. Le dessert ne me convenait pas (tarte aux pommes). Impossible d’en avoir un autre. Bon.
En revanche, excellent petit déjeuner avec des produits frais et diversifiés dans une salle avec jolie vue sur la rivière. Le meilleur moment de mon séjour en réalité.
Rapport qualité prix pas satisfaisant au regard d’autres logis.

The accommodation is slightly off the normal travel route. The detour was worth it because of the scenic and quiet location on a small body of water. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the owner was very nice.

Wonderful. A little off the usual tracks but worth a diversion. Lovely old mill house establishment spread in various buildings around ponds. Maintained carefully outside with lots of well kept plants and shrubs. Clearly a loved and nurtured place. Hotel and restaurant building quirky and fun. Sleeping and breakfast room building a little more modern. Operated by extremely friendly welcoming hosts who spoke English. We had two different set menus, from choice of three (or a la carte). (Noticed they had a children’s menu as well, which would have suited our children years ago and we were always hugely relieved to see on a menu back then). Good choices, beautifully prepared and served. Attentive friendly service. Highly recommend food. Quality of produce clearly very high. Our breakfast array was a delight. Masses of delicious foods. Homemade yogurt, large choice of home made jams, large choice of breads/croissants/cheeses. Big cafetière of coffee. We chose eggs and boiled them ourselves. All consumed by a large window overlooking the millpond. We felt very generously attended to. This hotel restaurant deserves to be a great success. If you think you might be passing we urge you to try it, we were extremely happy and satisfied by it.

Exceptionally beautifully situated hotel surrounded by a beautiful park with water features. We enjoyed it.

The only negative comment I would make is that the hotel and grounds feel jaded and out of date. Having said that, the rooms were clean with a good shower, and a kettle!
With the menus being covered in plastic there’s a feel of a chain restaurant, but the food was delicious.
It is very easy to miss the turning into the hotel…

Dated but well maintained hotel. Friendly reception. Dinner great! Breakfast good. Coffee lukewarm (beet is kept warm).

Breakfast was not good value for money for us. (sausages were completely missing)

A hidden gem of a hotel set in magnificent surroundings. My second stay here and enjoyed every minute.

In terms of language, it was very nice that communication could also take place in English. Bonus for us was the Dutch roots of the hostess. The air conditioning that is present everywhere made our stay very pleasant during tropical outside temperatures, both sleeping and eating. The location is very quiet and a good night's sleep is no problem. Restaurant is good with a nice choice of wine with also small bottle or glass choice.
