Restaurant Goût et Moi

Somewhat disappointed by our visit. We arrived at 19.45 having been delayed 2 hours by the farmers’ protests on the motorway. We had been phoned by the receptionist at 19.00 to say that she was going home, our key would be in the door of the room and that the hotel front door was open. No one was on duty. Good security or what? She also told us that the restaurant was closed for the annual holidays despite the confirmation email stating that they would be pleased to welcome us for dinner. Not best pleased. The room was perfectly adequate, clean etc. No kettle, fridge or welcome tray. Shower could do with some grout cleaner, the shower head rail had been removed and towel rail not working. Breakfast was fine.

Very clean rooms! Functionally furnished, good enough for one or two nights.

Very comfortable room, soundproofing with the corridor that could be improved (just next to the elevator). A bottle of water would have been appreciated especially in this heat wave. On the other hand, the restaurant menu was of poor quality, it was not really cooking. Passable beef carpaccio, any poultry, very small portion of uninteresting vegetables, inedible fries. Dessert: an acid coulis, an industrial chocolate. Poor value for money wine list. At breakfast, no seasonal fruit, but apple, orange, lemon! (in July!)

Warm welcome, quiet and clean hotel. Hearty and varied breakfast. Very good restaurant with a very accessible menu of the day.

Friendly and professional welcome. Light but well-executed evening stopover meal. Super DJ. TV a bit small in the bedroom. But very nice all the same.

Nice hotel well located and pleasant

This is the second time I have visited this establishment with my wife. But this time we also had our 1 year old son. If we welcome the provision of a travel cot and even a sleeping bag, the room would not allow to have the distance as small as it is between the double bed and the travel cot. Regarding the security of the establishment, I regret that no one told us how to open the front door when the establishment was closed.

The booking was a day later than stated on the confirmed reservation from Logis and the hotel was full. A solution was only found after considerable insistence. Finally able to book another hotel nearby.
