L'accueil à l'arrivée manquait un peu de chaleur humaine. Le service au restaurant était un peu rapide et le riz était largement trop cuit et pas de possibilité de mettre un peu de sel ou de poivre. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. La personne pour le départ est très conviviale et attentionnée.

Bien situé, idéal pour une étape

Un bel hôte, très bien tenu nous y retournerons à coup sûre pour tous déplacements dans le coin.

Comme lors de notre premier séjour un accueil très convivial une chambre récemment rénovée avec des prestations de qualité et une restauration haut de gamme. Un établissement à recommander.

Une étape incontournable

Parfaitement rénové, mais en concervant l’esprit Logis de France historique. La restauration est très bonne, servie avec souplesse et sourire. De saison (champignons une merveille). Accueil souriant. Bref une très bonne étape de deux jours réussie. A recommander chaudement.

Good hotel. quality catering and the room is new and very comfortable. Small downside for our stay: the address indicated on the internet (Google search) leads to a small square at the back of the hotel entrance. It was impossible to park because the car park was full and you had to walk 200 m with your luggage... The entrance is on Chemin Karrika with another car park 50 m away which seems easier to access. .

We stayed at this delightful hotel in a small town on the edge of the Pyrenees on our way across France. Check-in formalities were almost non-existent and we found our room to be pleasant with a good en-suite bathroom (actually suitable for disabled customers, although this was not necessary). After a short walk along the River Nivelle, partly along a section of the Camino, we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the very pleasant restaurant. In the morning, we had a very relaxed breakfast in the equally pleasant breakfast room with a good view of the local church. However, overnight the weather had deteriorated considerably and we were very pleased that it had been possible to park right outside the front door of the hotel, so that we were not soaked while we were putting our bags in the car.

Splendid room… clean, large and super modern, very cozy… as for the restaurant, worthy of starred restaurants. For professional reasons I regularly frequent Logis Hôtels, but this one is the best of the best…

Everything very good: bedding, bathroom, bedroom, TV! 1/2 board too (perfect cooking of fish in particular). I would like to come back! Thank you for everything!

Very good hotel and bistro, I recommend. Warm and friendly staff, impeccable and comfortable rooms, tasty and surprising cuisine, good value for money, I will definitely come back. The only downside is poor soundproofing from the street, you can hear people passing by even when you are on the 2nd floor with the windows closed.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms and beds. Lovely breakfast - well worth the Euro10. The restaurant was closed on the Monday but the restaurant Santiago recommended by the hotel receptionist two doors down was excellent. The hotel was very quiet and perfect for exploring the area. The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely soft bedding and pillows. Everyone was very helpful. A great stay. Would definitely recommend it.

We were well received at the Hôtel de la NIVELLE. The hotel is very modern in a building typical of the Basque country. The room is comfortable and well appointed. It also offers a restaurant and a bistro whose terrace overlooks the church square. Very good Basque breakfast. Saint PEE sur NIVELLE and the hotel are well located for visiting the typical villages of this region as well as for beautiful hikes in both France and Spain.

We had a very bad experience, I took this hotel for the positive reviews on the site. However, we were very disappointed by the quality of the room, a lot of humidity, very very unpleasant smell, difficulty in breathing (my husband being asthmatic). The room was not clean, cobwebs, dust under the beds. On the site, it says wifi, canal + channels, air conditioning, there is nothing of these services. The price is not justified. It's a scam.....

Very good stay. The staff was accommodating and I thank them very much. The bedding and exceptional, I slept very well. Very good stay. Negative point: the lighting in the bathroom is too weak. We see nothing. I had to take the flashlight from my phone to see myself in the mirror while shaving. More powerful lighting would be welcome.

We stayed 5 nights. Room on the main street side very noisy (waked up every morning at 6 am by deliveries and municipal employees). Late evening motorcycle rodeo. Air conditioning failure not reported, hence the obligation to sleep with the window open. No private parking (several times around the village in the evening to find a place).

Centraal in het dorp gelegen hotel-restaurant met bar en een ruim terras aan een rustig straatje. Openbaar parkeren mogelijk. Wij sliepen in een dependance aan de overzijde in een weliswaar wat eenvoudigere maar wel zéér ruime kamer, bijna een appartement. Er is dáár alleen helaas geen airco.
Goede bedden, keurig sanitair.
Eten kan in de bar/bistro óf in het separate, uitstekende(!), air conditioned restaurant. Prettig personeel. Men spreekt er ook Engels.

Nice room, good table and pleasant welcome, too bad the breakfast coffee machine is broken, but a Thermos was there to compensate.

Why ask for an inquiry by email, when it would have been easier to discuss it, when paying for the stay. When paying, (waiting 1/4 hour) friendly discussion with the cook (about the region, the history, etc.). He wished us a good trip.... On the other hand, no request (hotel satisfaction, region...) from the person at the reception. (A little disappointing).

Hotel occupied only one night in a family room (annex). Very good reception, good bedding and correct and sufficient equipment. No air conditioning in the room. Evening meal and breakfast very good.

Room with AC broken down! No other solution found or even a fan! Sleeping with the window open with the sounds of the bar below and the bugs coming into the room. 2 nights without sleeping. The employee still offered us breakfasts but was not aware of our calls and the breakdown. Carpet stained, dated.

El hotel muy cómodo y muy limpio así como el servicio que fue muy atento. Respecto al restaurante una experiencia gastronómica muy buena, confirmó nuestras expectativas. Nuestra única sugerencia es cambiar la iluminación, no estaba del todo iluminada la habitación. Las bombillas no eran LED, y en especial las bombillas de los plafones del cuarto de baño irradiaban demasiado calor, por ecología y por comodidad se podrían cambiar.

A very nice place to stay. Beware no food apart from breakfast from Sunday lunchtime to Tuesday lunchtime..but restaurant next door is open.

Dinner and lunch at the very satisfying bistro restaurant, fresh produce, menu with real choices. Hearty breakfast with a fresh fruit salad and not canned, it's so rare. The hotel is very good, the room too. On the other hand, the catering staff was very unpleasant, being ignored for more than 40 minutes to take the order of just one dish is a bit unpleasant.

Excellent welcome, very comfortable and very clean room with air conditioning. Breakfast which has nothing to envy to the starred restaurants and the person who took care of the room during our stay very correct and very attentive. Excellent choice of products including local honey and yoghurts of excellent quality. This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel and we will return when the opportunity arises. Only downside: Wi-Fi unusable due to untimely cuts, to be improved.
