This hotel is really a good address, a bit old-fashioned, in a village which has charm and a certain history, with quiet streets. The hotel restaurant is the only lively place in the area, you sleep and eat very well there, and the rooms were really comfortable. Despite English being listed as a spoken language, this did not appear to be the case and communication was difficult especially trying to explain a dietary requirement.
There seemed to be limited gluten free options and understanding of the dietary implications making it difficult to relax with confidence that food presented would not cause illness.
