Very family hotel and home-cooked restaurant
This hotel is really a good address, a bit old-fashioned, in a village which has charm and a certain history, with quiet streets. The hotel restaurant is the only lively place in the area, you sleep and eat very well there, and the rooms were really comfortable. The warm welcome from the owner - with whom we were able to communicate thanks to a telephone number which was indicated on the front door - at a late hour, did us good after the long journey we had traveled. On the other hand, we were unable to get hot water in the bathroom and the wifi connection did not work.
Very good value for money. TB welcome. We needed a short night for a festive evening. Ideal. Beautiful spacious suite of 2 bedrooms/4 beds + small living room, ideal for families. We didn't eat there but the catering seemed nice.

Very good, regional cuisine, very good and friendly service.
Despite English being listed as a spoken language, this did not appear to be the case and communication was difficult especially trying to explain a dietary requirement.
There seemed to be limited gluten free options and understanding of the dietary implications making it difficult to relax with confidence that food presented would not cause illness.
It came across that main staff member dealing with reception and dinner was reluctant to make the effort to understand albeit our french is limited.
Rooms and location were nice, food was otherwise good and attitude of colleague dealing with breakfast on following day was a marked improvement.
During our 5-day stay, we could only appreciate the entire service of this establishment which met our expectations at a fair price.
Hotel well located, quiet. The room is spacious and clean with a balcony. Classic but hearty breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant with a terrace. The meals are good and plentiful. The owner listens to his customers and the waitresses are friendly.

We were not disappointed when we discovered this typical Alsatian establishment for the first time. The room was comfortable, the bathroom modern. The meal was to our liking and met our expectations. The atmosphere is rather family and even friendly. The clientele is local which is often a guarantee of quality.

It's a nice relaxing place where you can relax. A very beautiful village which is good to live there.
Warm & adequate reception; dinner was good (for demi-pension choice of 2 main courses + a (day's) soup). We took choucroute and it was delicious!

Unreliable hotel, the room wasn't available after all. Despite the booking confirmation that I received.
Reservation for 4 rooms, i.e. 8 people made and no rooms on arrival
The food was good. I can't say anything about the hotel. Due to an incorrect booking in the system, we didn't get the booked rooms and had to drive home that night.
Reservation not honored. As the hotel was full, we had to find another one. Surprise that made us a little angry.
Communication is not the strong point of this hotel, we waited an hour for someone to give us the keys to the room, no phone answered.
D'abord: A notre arrivée, il n'y avait en fait pas de réception du tout. C'était plutôt le sentiment que nous dérangeions le personnel. Finalement, nous avons pu parler à l'homme que nous avions informé de notre arrivée par téléphone la veille. Il nous a reconnu et nous a donné la clé de notre chambre. De plus, aucune donnée ou document ne nous a été demandé, ce que nous n'avions jamais connu auparavant. Cela a entraîné une conversation inconfortable sur le parking après que nous ayons remis la clé pour savoir si et comment nous aurions payé. Tres déplaisant. Lorsqu'il a demandé si nous voulions prendre le petit-déjeuner et à quelle heure nous voulions utiliser le petit-déjeuner, le patron avait l'air plutôt difficile lorsque nous l'avons commandé à 7h00 car nous avions encore un long trajet le lendemain . J'ai proposé de le faire plus tard mais le propriétaire a accepté. Quand nous sommes descendus à sept heures moins quelques minutes, la porte du restaurant était fermée. Nous avons trouvé cela très désagréable. Même quand nous sommes sortis, le restaurant était fermé. Il est également extrêmement choquant de constater que cette porte est signalée comme issue de secours sur les panneaux et le plan de la voie d'evacuation. Une fois la porte fermée, nous avons continué à emballer. Vous comprenez notre déception. Dans une conversation à ce sujet avec le propriétaire, il a mentionné qu'il avait quitté sa maison à sept heures. C'est bien sûr très peu professionnel car le petit-déjeuner n'est bien sûr pas prêt à sept heures. La chambre était autrement rdelik bien que l'extraction soit beaucoup trop élevée. Cela donne un son embarrassing et rend l'air trop sec. Cependant, cela a moins d'importance. The plus, il est faux de dire que toutes les communications concernant le bar sont suffisantes avec des lunettes propres. Ce n'est pas hygiénique et également contraire aux règles de Corona. Nous n'avons pas vu de comptoir d'enregistrement. Il fallait crier quelque chose au personnel du bar. Apres enquiry, le propriétaire a signalé que le WIFI ne fonctionnait pas. C'est un vrai problème car il devait encore répondre aux e-mails professionnels et la réception mobile était presque impossible dans la chambre d'hôtel. J'ai dû rester debout sur le balcon. Je n'ai reçu aucune compréhension du propriétaire. Nous estimons que cet Hôtel n'est absolument pas digne de recevoir des hôtes et pensons que la culture de cette entreprise n'est absolument pas adaptée à cela. Cet hotel, à notre avis, ne doit pas avoir de gestion du tout. First of all: On arrival there was actually no reception at all. It was more of a feeling that we were disturbing the staff. In the end we got to speak to the man who we had informed of our arrival by telephone the previous day. He recognized us and gave us the key to our room. Furthermore, no data or documents were requested from us at all, which we had never experienced before. This resulted in an uncomfortable conversation at the parking lot after we had delivered the key whether and how we would have paid. Very unpleasant. When inquiring whether we wanted to have breakfast and what time we wanted to use breakfast, the boss looked rather difficult when we ordered it at 7:00 because we still had a long drive the next day. I offered to do it later but the owner agreed. When we came down at a few minutes after seven, the door to the restaurant was closed. We found this very unpleasant. Even when we went outside the restaurant was closed. It is also extremely shocking to note that this door is marked as an emergency exit on the signs and the map of the escape route. When the door was closed, we continued packing. You understand our disappointment. In a conversation about this with the owner, he mentioned that he had left his house at seven o'clock. That is of course very unprofessional because then breakfast is of course not ready at seven o'clock. The room was otherwise rdelik although the extraction is much too high. This gives an annoying sound and makes the air too dry. However, this is of less importance. Furthermore, it is incorrect that all communication is conducted about the bar that is sufficient with clean glasses. This is unhygienic and also against Corona rules. We did not see a check-in counter. You had to yell something to the bar staff. Upon inquiry, the owner reported that the WIFI was not working. That is a real problem as he still had to answer business email and also the mobile reception was almost impossible in the hotel room. I had to stand on the balcony. I have not received any understanding from the owner. We believe that this Hotel is absolutely not worthy to receive guests and think that the culture of this company is absolutely not suitable for that. This Hotel in our opinion must have a no management at all.
