I have written a long email to another request for a review from the hotel via Booking.com. It was awful! Lacklustre welcome, my favourite hotel in France completely ruined by new owners of 9 years. No dinner on a Friday evening. Another reason I booked, because the food used to be gorgeous. Had to go out for a pizza and ended up finding the front door locked at 20.00. Shouted and banged to no avail and eventually found the phone number on the key fob. Rang that and were let in via a side door. No mention of that when we booked in and no apology. Horrendous stay. Never again!

Large hotel, the rooms are large, offer a desk, a flat screen, comfortable bedding. Two downsides: - The furniture gives an old-fashioned look while the rooms have been redone, which is a shame. - The noise, in the morning people slam the doors and it makes a huge noise. Not too much. The bathroom had a large, clean shower with storage for things. I opted for a stopover, the menu is perfect but you are only offered one kind of dish, again a shame because if you don't like it...it complicates it. The dishes are very good and the perfect quantity. Breakfast: you are asked your wishes upon arrival. It's good following the Covid but strongly that we can choose ourselves in the morning. Parking is free at the back of the hotel and there is also a swimming pool for the summer.
