Restaurant la Pommeraie

The staff was rude, the pool was closed, they charge 10€ for a sauna that looks old and scary, the food was ok but they treated differently the ones who pay the whole “gourmet experience” and the ones that eat the menu included in the reservation, the cut the light for about one and half hour, the interiors look old and dirty, and they were constantly bothering me in my room either to inform about some random thing and then to make me pay before the night before I was leaving instead of making me pay in the reception; nobody likes to be chased to their room to pay it’s not like I was going to scape somewhere, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Bad experience and wouldn’t recommend it.

Très heureux d'être retourné dans cette région et dans ce château. L'accueil est toujours fantastique les repas sont sublimes et le calme est total. Tout a répondu à nos attentes.

Overall, very good. The castle is superb, the staff extraordinary and the food, a real treat (with excellent value for money). The room is ok for the price. Only one downside, but a real one: the shower room which really needs a good refresh!

Everything was perfect but the swimming pool really needs to be renovated, particularly with regard to the liner which no longer adheres. + cloudy water. For the rest everything was perfect. Thank you for your welcome and your kindness

A trip to the 19th century. The residence is superb, the grounds and surroundings splendid, the service commendable. The restaurant is hearty and tasty, we are not into "the 3 steamed peas with their sliced carrots, reduction of salted water with rosemary".

A little difficult to find, but once arrived, good welcome, beautiful well-appointed room, well-designed bathroom. Hearty breakfast and good croissants. Very nice hotel that we discovered with great pleasure.

Shower difficult cold and hot all the time. Noisy from 7:30 in the morning. Barking dog. Noise next to but rather below in the breakfast room. Short breakfast.. not a lot of choice.

EVERYTHING Absolutely everything was perfect, from the welcome to the departure. Excellent meal, comfort and silence of the rooms. Extremely professional, attentive and smiling staff.

We were a bit disappointed with the room we got, we were expecting a bigger room. My friend (who paid the same price as me) had a room almost twice as big. I did not find this normal We also asked one of your colleagues if breakfast was included in the price of the room and she said yes, so we were surprised to be asked €14.50 at the time of check out.

An exceptional setting, truly top-notch cuisine and a very well-stocked breakfast. What could be better ?

Magnificent rooms, personalized service and a very good menu. Always happy to return. We've been staying there at least once a year for over 10 years and never have anything to complain about.

Nothing to say except that it would be better if the toilets were not in the bathroom…
