We were made very welcome. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed an excellent dinner.

Très bon séjour et un tarif très intéressant. Je suis un habitué de la chaîne Logis Hotel. L'auberge du Cheval Blanc est notée 2 étoiles. Une 3ème serait amplement méritée !

Von außen unscheinbar sind die Zimmer groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Restaurant bietet Hausmannskost. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist extrem gut.

Tolles Hotel, sehr gute Preis- leistung

Excellente soirée étape à tous niveaux, accueil, confort, propreté, service et restauration.
J’ai demandé à avoir un café avant l’heure d’ouverture du petit déjeuner, et évidemment que je dérangeais, mais il m’a gentiment été servi quand même.
Très bon rapport qualité prix ce qui m’a permis de prendre un verre de Bourgogne… enfin deux ;-) en dînant.
Je reviendrai assurément.

Value for money

The hotel rooms we booked were advertised as "double or twin". When we arrived we were presented with 2 doubles. We were told at first that a double in France is the same as a twin and if we wanted a second bed it is called a triple. The next morning we were told that we had to ask ahead for a twin if we had wanted two beds (even though the receipt says "double or twin"). We were, therefore, charged extra for pulling out the couch in the one room and making the bed up ourselves so that it was a "twin" - as advertised in the receipt. Nor were we informed there would be an additional price when we did this.

Located in a pretty village on the Marne. The Cheval Blanc is very good value for it's Logis classification.

Very good hotel, very quiet, friendly and smiling staff. Just a pity to have had a winter duvet, 25 degrees in the room, without air conditioning.

Very quiet, beautiful hotel and restaurant at moderate prices.

the air conditioning in the dining room did not work. and for a long time. a mobile air conditioner had been added in the room but it was also not on.

The rooms were basic but nice. The staff very friendly. The food in one word fantastic The minus was that the rooms were too hot, we couldn't sleep because of the lack of an air conditioning and with 34 degrees understandable. Next tot the church with the bells ringing until 12 o'clock every half hour is also not fantastic. If they would do something about the temperature we would recommend it and the big plus is the food.

Brand new room with nice shower! Room in annex building but on the same enclosed grounds! But it was very doable! Very friendly reception! Breakfast and dinner were excellent! Very good value for money!
