Un excellent établissement, très calme. Accueil charmant et restaurant de qualité. Le parking est tres pratique. Juste un petit bémol notre chambre était un peu exigue, ce qui justifie un peu le fait de trouver que le rapport qualité prix n'est pas optimal. Cela dit c est un établissement à recommander sans réserve.

Accueil très chaleureux dans ce bel hotel situé au bord du cours d'eau de la Sélune. Nous avons très bien diné et passé un séjour très agréable. Nous recommandons !

The Auberge de la Lune was a memorable part of our trip to France. The service! Patrice Girres and his wife run the place with such a personal touch. And the grounds are heaven itself. The room had everything we could have possibly wanted, including a view of the river. Clean, well appointed, comfortable, beautiful, great dining room with a spectacular chef--we normally don't eat at our hotel when we travel, but reading reviews, we gave it a try and were greatly rewarded. Everything taken care of--the normal parking was blocked due to construction, but parking spaces were reserved for us. Communication was excellent and in English.

Hotel very well located in a pretty, very pleasant village. The hotel has a very quiet and beautifully flowered garden on the banks of the river. Spacious room, very quiet and super comfortable bed! Located 10 minutes from Avranches and 20 from Mont Saint Michel, it is ideally located. We were with our dog who was very well received, just like us! The breakfast is generous, with good local products and homemade jams.

A very nice hotel with a nice garden located along the river Sélune. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was pleasant and spotless with a modern bathroom and spacious shower. I can highly recommend enjoying a meal in their restaurant. It was a delightful experience and the food was just delicious.

Very good catering

There were major public works going on outside the hotel but we were kept informed of them and how to access the parking hotel so it was not a problem to us. It was good to see that a specific place had been reserved for us to park in arrival and the welcome once inside the hotel was warm and friendly.
Every thing was good and the restaurant was excellent.
Departure was smooth and unhurried.

Auberge de la Sélune is a very special place to say. It is a beautifully cared for and tastefully modernised traditional building in the attractive village of Ducey. The riverside garden is lovely. The highlight of our stay was dinner on the terrasse, and a very good dinner too. Magical! It is a great spot for cyclists with the nearby Greenway crossing the Cotentin. Mont St Michel is 20k away using this Greenway. We only did a small part of it but can't wait to return and go the full distance!

This is an excellent family run hotel. The proprietors are very obviously committed to the wellbeing and comfort of their guests and are very attentive and personable, treating everyone as an individual and not just a paying guest. The rooms are spotlessly clean as is the entire hotel. A lovely and varied evening menu was available and breakfast was plentiful. The ambience in the dining room is lovely and there is a lovely terrace and garden which we were fortunate to be able to have our evening meal in. The town of Ducey is a pretty town, and Logis Auberge de Selune is an oasis among this.. we originally intended to stay only one night and journey elsewhere, but after a day sightseeing in the area, we decided to return and rebooked a second night. We were welcomed back by the hosts.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful garden. The parking space in the yard requires some maneuvering skills, but there is enough public parking space a few meters away (around the corner). The restaurant is a bit disappointing. It is comparatively expensive, but offers a very limited menu selection. Unfortunately, the chef's ambitions to incorporate current trends are not implemented with the appropriate skill. The promising “Tomatoes anciennes” with coconut and coriander were essentially unseasoned. The quinoa as a side dish with the fish was hardly seasoned and therefore rather annoying, and the beans (!) in the dessert also lacked flavor. The hall is nice, but the atmosphere is very stiff. It all feels a bit “out of time”... (Alternative: There is a nice little creperie “Le Ducéen” around the corner, where you are served casually and friendly with delicious little things.) The tip from the lady of the house, Setting off early (08:15) for a visit to Mont Saint-Michel proved to be very useful. Thanks for that!

One night stay for two, an adult and a teenager, during a bike ride. Everything was perfect ! The welcome is very pleasant, the garden is superb and the meal a delight! Bicycle garage available.

A very nice hotel in the middle of Ducey. The rooms are functionally furnished and clean. The bathroom was updated, there could be more storage space overall. The breakfast buffet was small, but it still has a little bit of everything. The staff was very friendly! We'd love to come back.

A beautiful property and a beautiful family history. This establishment has a hundred of history, it is run by a charming and dedicated couple. You can feel and see the attention to detail. They watch over the old property, a beautiful stone facade with a charming shaded garden overlooking the Selune; a beautiful location near Avranches, Mont Saint Michel and very beautiful views of the bay.

Everything is perfectly sorted, the room was clean and conforms to the 3* classification, the restaurant is very beautiful, its decoration neat and tasteful. In terms of gastronomy, the service was perfect, the staff took great care and the dinner planned with the overnight stay was tasty, and without any false notes! Dans la région pour randonner à vélo, nous recommandons cet établissement où tout a été fait pour nous faciliter la tache. Rangement des vélos, prise pour le vélo électrique... Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié l'accueil de nos hôtes et de leur personnel. C'est un établissement familial et c'est très appréciable. Nous vous conseillons aussi le restaurant qui sert des produits régionaux de qualité. Tout proche de la piste cyclable, l'emplacement est idéal pour se rendre au Mont Saint Michel.

Very pleasant stay. Everything is nickel

A perfect place to stay - the hosts extremely professional, helpful and friendly. The houses are embedded in a beautifully grown garden that is lovingly cared for. Everything is accompanied by the sound of the river, which runs right past the property. Our room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. We had a reserved parking space. The breakfast was small but nice and admittedly very extensive by French standards. We had dinner in the in-house restaurant - it tasted excellent and the wine list fully met our taste. We will come back in any case.

The hotel is old! Carpet wallpaper stained! No cook present a warmed menu! Zero value for money. Flavorless breakfast.

A very good time spent in this establishment near Mont Saint Michel The benevolence, kindness, professionalism of the managers and staff were greatly appreciated. Special mention to the chef who prepares delicious dishes! Congratulations to the whole team, especially in the current somewhat complicated environment. The hotel has a character of its own. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Check in and out is very easy and informal. The meal in the restaurant was fantastic. The main staff spoke good English which was very helpful as our French is embarrassingly poor. We would love to stay again if in the area as we felt so welcome here.

Top the personalized parking space. We had reserved parking in advance. The hotel is perfectly located as a stopover. Super nice staff. The only problem was the breakfast. We had to wait a very long time for a cup of coffee... And unfortunately the coffee was not of good quality. Everything else was perfect

A delightful hotel in a lovely location. Sandra, Patrice and their staff were welcoming, helpful and very professional. Drinks and dinner in the evening in their beautiful garden by the river were a highlight of our stay. The quality of the evening meals especially was excellent.
Ducey is well situated for visits to St Malo and Mont St Michel and it was a pleasure to return each evening to the relaxing calm of the hotel.

Warm and personalized welcome, great attention paid to customer satisfaction by our hosts. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped room. A remarkable point on the quality of the bedding. we made a Normandy/Brittany journey, only making accommodation in France. by far this house was the worst, outdated room, tiny bathroom with not even a mixer tap for water, not to mention the shower bulb that did not fit on the wall. about the restaurant!!! what about a menu at 32€ with a tomato mozzarella starter (no other choice) a slice of pineapple for dessert (no other choice) and a main course or fish or meat. fortunately there was the smile of the young waitress.

Wir können dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, weil wir keine Buchungsbestätigung erhalten haben.
Am 22. März haben wir wegen eines Aufenthaltes auf dem Weg in die Bretagne eine Suite anmieten wollen.
Der einzige Kontakt mit dem Hotel kam am 18.8. , also 5 Monate später, zustande, als ich mit dem Namen ‚Mrs Baughan‘ angeschrieben wurde, ob wir auch im Restaurant essen wollten. Ich weiss nicht, ob Mrs Baughan wollte, wir sicherlich nicht, da wir von unserer Buchung nichts wussten. Wir haben keinerlei Bestätigung erhalten! Trotzdem sollen wir jetzt 181 Euro bezahlen.
Warum hat man uns im März keine Buchungsbestätigung geschickt? Diese hätten wir ausgedruckt zu unseren Urlaubsunterlagen genommen, wie wir das immer tun.
Wegen fehlender Buchungsbestätigung haben wir uns dann etwas anderes gesucht!

What a great discovery!!! The establishment run by Mr and Mrs GIRRES is simply exceptional. Another big thank you to this charming couple, very professional as well as to all the staff. When we arrived, a personalized sign was waiting for us at the space reserved for parking our motorcycle (under cover). Warm and friendly welcome. Impeccable cleanliness of the place, equipment of the top rooms, very neat decoration, very good bedding, charming garden inviting you to relax, very beautiful dining rooms, one of which overlooks the garden. Finally, to complete the picture, a restaurant run by a chef offering gourmet menus that will delight your taste buds (and we are picky!!!). Sophisticated and very fine cuisine, offering surprising and tasty combinations, delicate presentation of the dishes, all accompanied by a high-level wine list. Above all, above all, do not deprive yourself of it! Thank you to the chef and his entire team. Negative point: I have searched ..... I can't find any !!!! The Auberge de la sélune is a real gem in a green setting where it is good to stop ..... and come back so much you feel good there! In any case, this is what we will do without hesitation. Very friendly team. Beautiful garden, beautiful location. The only drawback was the nearby fairground with loud music that went on until about 3:00 a.m. and prevented us from sleeping. We would love to come back - just not on the festival weekend.

Lovely setting with shady garden overlooking river. Friendly & helpful staff. Room was comfortable. Food was excellent.

Warmly NOT recommended. We had the misfortune to stay during the July heat wave, and we couldn't sleep. The hotel does not have air conditioning, and not even a fan in the room. It is over 30° C and you have to choose between not sleeping because of the heat and not sleeping because of the noise. We chose the second alternative, and had the chance to attend the agricultural tractors ball until 1:00 am... incredible but true! After counting the tractors, we were finally able to count the sheep, but for a brief period because around 5:00 in the morning, it was the parade of thermal engines that woke us up: cars, motorcycles, scooters, tractors (again!), agricultural machinery, ..; everything with an engine passed under our window. I won't dwell on the rest, because for me a hotel where I can't sleep has no interest. I therefore leave to those who will have the opportunity to stay there in cooler weather the leisure to make their comments.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner and breakfast. Since we had poor or no internet connection in the previous accommodation and we were then traveling by car, our accessibility was limited and therefore we received this information very late. This is a general problem not only for this hotel. Perhaps this could be better explained on the booking site. Thanks to the commitment of the hotel management, we were then informed and the team worked to make our stay comfortable with available items from the in-house shop.

Visiting this hotel again for work. Arrival outside opening hours, the manager was waiting for me as agreed. Perfect welcome, formalities, accompaniment and presentation of the room with early departure the next day without problem. Very quiet, although located in town but in a low traffic street. Some rooms overlook the garden. It remains to test the restaurant. Certainly I recommend without hesitation.

We often stay at the Auberge de la Selune and always find the welcome, food, and general ambiance excellent. We have stayed with our dogs and plenty of good walks, especially by the river.
Nous étions souvent à l’Auberge de la Selune et trouve toujours une accueille bien, les repas excellent et les environs sont agréable. Beaucoup de jolie promenades qui nous avons fait avec nos chiennes aussi.

Charming and professional welcome. Real hoteliers!!! Our parking space was labeled in our name. Only downside: the restaurant is closed on Tuesday evenings, but one of our selection criteria was the reputation of the stage. We had not been warned (which is not the first time in a Logis. The chain should systematically specify the closing days on the confirmation) We were still served a single dinner (no choice possible but very good moreover) on a tray, in the dining room. A bit of a shame, because the stay would have been even more pleasant. We will come back !
