Quelques améliorations à apporter pour ce qui est servi au petit déjeuner
Accueil chaleureux. Chambre confortable et bien décorée. La salle de bain est très grande ! Une bouilloire à thé/café aurait été un plus. Un peu bruyant côté rue le matin et les portes qui claquent.. la cuisine est savoureuse et raffinée. Jolie salle du restaurant. Je recommande !
On arrival was more than accommodating. Showed us our room and welcomed our collie, car parking is fine with a safe compound which is locked at night. Food was great novelle cuisine and bequillingly filling. A nice wine list with a comprehensive range .We asked for rose and he recommendeda wine to suit both our menus and not a necessarily expensive wine * ; -). Nice breakfast decent choice and godd quality again. Ps if you need to take doggy out at night no probs . Just all street lighting goes out at 10.30 i always have a torch anyway. Thanks for a great stay

Excellent stop along our route from Cancale to Moustiers-Ste-Marie. We chose this property because of its high Logis ratings as a hotel and as a restaurant — and its location near our route. We were very pleased with the warm welcome, comfortable chambre, excellent dinner and service, high quality breakfast offering, and good value. We highly recommend.

Despite agreeing to arrive at 17h00, we arrived 8 minutes early and everything was locked up! There was no response when we rang the bell (3 times), so we had to telephone before a delightful young woman arrived to let us in.
Courteous welcome but nothing more. Dull atmosphere accompanied by a certain letting go of a hotel that struggles to maintain itself at a level that must have been higher at one time! Past and future difficulties weigh on the enthusiasm of the establishment's management. Obvious lack of almost absent staff at breakfast reduced to its simplest expression. Very few choices. Industrial orange juice. Only the restaurant is up to scratch despite a wine list at prohibitive prices unwelcome in this kind of establishment!

Welcome was good and able to accommodate the fact of our arrival being after 6pm.
Departure was a problem as we needed to leave early and could find no member of staff to finalise our bill until 8 am. If we had been warned of this fact we could have settled our bill after eating in the restaurant.

I proceeded to cancel my stay with difficulties due to the fact that having booked through the canal des logis, I had to go through this site to which the Hotel du ChevalBlanc is not attached. I deplore this system because I had changed my day of arrival by calling and confirming by email when cancellation was impossible. It would be desirable to review this organization may be favorable to the hotel. I think that next time I will use the Logis de France site by contacting the hotel directly. cdt

Disappointed with the service, especially in relation to the price and the reputation of the establishment. On arrival, we felt like we were disturbing. We were rushed to our room as quickly as possible. The receptionist ran up the stairs and climbed the stairs 2 by 2 to take us to our room. The children inevitably followed, and one of them broke her face on the stairs. Both bloody shins. The receptionist didn't even bother to worry if she was ok or not, or even offer sanitizer or anything to help...they just left us at the entrance to the room and walked over. went away like nothing. Arrival in the room, I go to the bathroom to clean the wounds. And there, surprise: not even a small bar of soap, if only to wash my hands... I had to go down to reception to ask for some! We ended up going to the pool...which was filthy. After swimming, we returned to wash up. And we were able to see when we got out of the shower that there was not even a hair dryer available: it was starting to be a lot, because these are still basic services, and given the standard of the hotel and the price for the suite was extremely disappointing. 2nd day there, room service did not deem it necessary to make our room. On the other hand, they had the "kindness" to leave us an old sponge next to the sink... that had never been done to me before! I still wonder today if that meant "do it yourself". Last night, fire alarm at 2am (it happens, I don't care for that, even if my night was ruined), all the customers come down to reception in their undress: absolutely no one from the hotel was present. We handled it ourselves. No excuses or worries from the management the next day at breakfast, obviously everything was perfectly normal... So we spent 3 nights there, paid 700 € for a really deplorable service (at the exception of the owner who was extremely friendly and welcoming when we met him, but unfortunately that's not all). We were extremely disappointed with this stay, we would not recommend this property, at least not for the price it costs. Level quality / price, we found that it did not correspond at all ...

A very pretty setting in a small town.
The serice at table was friendly and helpful but slow. There was a party in another room. The chef I found had tried a little too hard to make the dishes interesting but the embelishments did not work for me. The fish was cooked perfectly.
The bathroom was large and nicely appointed. But a seperate shower rather than a bath with a hose would have been preferred. And I am always at a loss as to why some places do not provide a hook for the shower. The difficulty this produces makes a shower ridiculously unproductive and difficult. Such a small oversight.
