Spacious and comfortable rooms in an old building. All amenities including tea and coffee making facilities were provided. Dinner was very good but with only a set menu available. Luckily I liked the choice and it was very good quality.

After a traumatic encounter at eurotunnel I thought we would barely reach the hotel before midnight let alone have the meal which we had booked in eager anticipation. As it happened we made it with 5 minutes to spare before the kitchens closed. The meal was worth the travails of the day. Delicious, beautifully presented and welcoming staff. 5 star. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast however was very disappointing. Luke warm coffee, questionable croissants and rather impersonal. We would go again. 100%. But we would not take breakfast there unless it had improved.
