Welcome and friendliness of the staff, the only downside is the lack of air conditioning knowing that we had a room in the attic, otherwise I recommend, quiet place

Hotel well located, quiet and practical, it has a restaurant with good products. Breakfast is simple: why not add some local cheese? The room is nice, big enough for 2 people, very clean. The only downside is the shower curtain which we don't really appreciate...
After an approach made complicated by a snowstorm, the reception at the hotel was comforting. We were able to have the evening meal and we spent the night in a cozy and comfortable bed.

Excellent welcome and atmosphere. The room we had was the last rented, the hotel being full for the annual flea market (so it was not the most comfortable). but we were delighted by the warm and friendly contact with all the hotel staff. We will be back for sure.

The note corresponds to a stay in the evening stage, I think that a stay in other conditions would be better noted in particular on the meal included in this formula. The plus: Hotel with a lift, decent room, very good breakfast, the main course (only choice in the evening stopover) was very good: pave of salers with Auvergne blue sauce I recommend Points for improvement: The quality of the reception, to avoid the staff bickering during meals behind the bar because it looks bad and unprofessional, to plan an appetizer on the stopover evening menu because even if the main course was copious I find that it is lacking, to plan a written menu with an alternative to each dish (starter/main course/dessert), avoid chocolate mousse for dessert which is "low-end" and of chemical origin with no other possible choices. Perhaps a good local cheese would do the trick in this formula. For the bathroom in the bedroom, a thermostatic mixer would be a plus. In summary and contrary to the opinions I noted when booking, for the stopover evening rather a disappointment in particular on the meal, its diversity and the quality of the dessert, below the standards to which I am accustomed

Very good except one point: Breakfast is only served from 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on weekends. Please offer a breakfast formula from 7 a.m. for hikers who leave Allanche for a 22 km stage on the Cézallier tour on foot and wish to leave early to take advantage of the freshness.
