Regional cuisine with a really friendly feel
David, the Chef, following in the footsteps of Michel Carlier, the former owner, will prepare for you home-made, tasty and generous dishes served in a warm atmosphere.
Juliette and David have drawn all their love of cooking and hospitality from their uncle Robert Bardot, a worthy starred chef of the famous "Flambard à Lille".
Here, Read more the journey continues on the plate, as original as it is tasty. Colourful dishes with similar flavours, such as flamingo in Maroilles or Flemish carbonnade, but also with more distant flavours, are served around the same table in the authentic and convivial setting of the house's very pretty dining room.
In the summer, meals are enjoyed on the large terrace of our hotel facing the lush vegetation of the park. A delight!
We work in the kitchen to the maximum with our products from the garden (honey from the mill, apple juice, eggs...), products from local or regional producers, concerned about seasonal products to serve you better.

Excellente soirée passée dans l'établissement. L'accueil est chaleureux et la convivialité de mise.
Nous avons reçu un accueil froid, nous avons été invités à payer directement la nuit et le petit déjeuner avant même d'entendre bienvenue !
Chambre correctement équipée, un manque important néanmoins concernant les rideaux non occultants, avec un spot allumé dans la cour jusque 2h30 du matin, la nuit ne fut pas reposante.

Le prix facturé n'est pas celui indiqué sur la réservation, et quand je demande explication on me dit que les 6€ supplémentaire est le prix de la bouteille d'eau alors que le principe de cette hôtel est de manger tous ensemble, le client ayant mangé avec moi à consommé la même bouteille et lui n'a pas été facturé de celle ci. De plus le responsable me dit lorsque je pose la question que " je ne vienne pas sinon dans son établissement".

I've been there twice now. The first was a nice surprise, an unusual concept. The second time, I went back because I wanted to share a moment again like I had experienced it the first time!

Accommodated in the annexe not the main house; surrounds shabby and window looking directly onto car park and workshop. Thin curtains meant little privacy when lights on. Room well furnished and good shower but spoiled by sheets and towels which smelt stale. We appreciated that eating would be communal and that was fine, but the food was definitely not of logis standard and showed no evidence of local produce (eg eggs, apple juice or honey from the mill as described in the Mill’s particulars ) . Poor quality charcuterie to start, a meagre vegetable curry in half a courgette and some roast potatoes to follow and an indifferent cheesecake to finish. Certainly nothing to represent local produce or specialties. A simple breakfast of butter, jam and orange juice with bread delivered noisily at 6.30 outside our door, was eaten in the room, perched on the bed, which was a rather miserable affair. This arrangement is not described in the hotel’s description. There was a coffee machine and kettle in the room.

One of my best experiences! I am a traveling salesman and I have never had the opportunity to come across an establishment like this. Guest house atmosphere allowing you to get to know the other guests over an aperitif and a meal all together.. I will come back! For sure.

Very good hospitality at this hotel. The buildings have charm and are refurbished. In the evening the formula (not mandatory) of the table d'hôte is very nice. Recommended for a business stopover during the week or for visiting the region at the weekend.

How can I say with regard to all my business trips and all of my stays in Hôtel Logis de France, I have never experienced such a thing. David's exceptional welcome of simplicity, kindness, good humor. I had the opportunity to sleep in the building in the annex in a brand new room, all comfort, up-to-date decoration, I slept there like a baby. Let's talk about serious things "the aperitif" served with always so much kindness, smiles, good humor or all the customers drink a glass or glasses together through various exchanges and bursts of laughter. The tasty, hearty, high quality meal served on large tables in the company of other customers. I tell the entire Logis Hotel le Moulin d'Artres team don't change anything and stay as you are and see you very soon.
The room was nice and clean and very spacious. The meal was OK for just having something to eat, but not something to enjoy. The price on the web page stated it include the meal, but I was charged 10 euro extra for the meal.
An excellent establishment
Rare and unusual atmosphere All-inclusive formula, even sharing and good humor. Meet at 7:30 p.m. for a drink, all the guests are there, dinner around the same table, always a good time. We often meet the same faces. It was my 4th stay and certainly not the last. Only downside, the breakfast served the day before (bread and croissant)
Hotel with a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere, where the common thread is meetings and sharing with others. I recommend for those who don't like to be alone at a head-to-head table with their laptop. David's concept is to be discovered for the curious. Personally, I agree. Very nice hotel (old watermill) run by a friendly couple. The owners take a lot of effort to please the guests and make one feel at home. Our room was very spacious, with comfortable bed, tea making facilities, sitting and breakfast area. Evening dinner consists of a 3 course dinner including wine and aperitif at a reasonable price.
Ontvangst was ietwat rommelig, service verder uitstekend.

Very friendly and uncomplicated host. The reception with a regional beer was uncomplicated and cordial. At the entrance to the yard, the host came up and down to show us where to park our motorcycles. Rooms absolutely super, food and drink at a high level. Gladly next time.
Good hotel, nice and helpful staff. Not that far from Motorway. No restaurant present, but very helpful in reserving a restaurant in the village. Breakfast was ready the evening before (in fridge). Bread was very fresh in the evening, but got somewhat old the next morning despite of the packaging. But in whole a pleasant stay in a very nice room!
An unusual Logis in a pretty village. The building is an old mill as the name suggests but it has been beautifully decorated and furnished. The service is also unusual because aperitifs and evening meal are taken communally. As a result we spoke to a variety of people of different nationalities. Our limited french was not a serious handicap. The menu was a set menu each evening but the food was good and there were interesting wines to drink. Breakfast was provided in a minibar in the room with bread and rolls in a Tupperware box. Some people might feel robbed of the traditional french breakfast experience by this arrangement but it didn't cause us any problem.
Everything went very well. The hosts are very welcoming and the hotel is very nice!
We stayed with our dogs in the separate "gatekeeper's house" while passing through. Very clean, cozy and functional. Since we had to leave very early the next morning, breakfast was delivered the night before - perfect! The area is very green , ideal for dog walks after a long drive and the restaurant belonging to the accommodation in the neighboring town is highly recommended .

This was a very welcoming and friendly hotel. We appreciated the appetizers after a long drive. The dining experience was similar to sitting around a family table and allowed us to discuss politics and improve our French. We liked the breakfast in the bedroom enabling us to depart at our convenience.
