First off, if you are looking for a place close to the train station & walking distance to the historical part of Laval, this hotel is ideal. It's in a great location, at a very reasonable price and as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe.

It was my first stay at the hotel & I found it to be quite adequate for my needs. The room was small, but efficient and just fine for me. It is nice to have an option for a single bed at a lesser costs when there is only 1 person. The room was modest but comfortable, clean and the bed comfortable. I got a good nights sleep. There was great communication from the hotel receptionist via emails, as I had a U.S. phone number and was not able to use my phone unless connected to the internet. I was given the information I needed to let myself into the hotel, find my room and the key. I would not hesitate to return to stay on my next visit to the area.

I had never encountered a closed hotel. Indeed we must call a number and then the person guides us on the phone to get to our room. Once there I discovered that I had paid 10€ more on the booking site. The room is very well decorated and laid out however the mattress was completely sunk in the middle. So we had no welcome, no restorative sleep, no good plan! I do not recommend at all.

I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Although the room is visually cohesive, it is very small and lacks air conditioning. We went to this structure with my companion for one night and suffered from the heat and the incessant outside noise. Due to the lack of air conditioning and even a fan given the price of the night, we had to keep the window open. The bar opposite the hotel full of regulars was very lively. The morning awakening was made by the very frequent passage of people going to the station. In terms of breakfast, there really isn't anything extraordinary about this all-you-can-eat buffet. But what particularly bothered me was not being able to get in touch with anyone at the reception on our arrival when we showed up during the opening hours of the establishment. I do not recommend this establishment at all. But I particularly emphasize the kindness and benevolence of the receptionist present on Sunday morning.
