An essential stopover on the holiday route! The hotel is only about ten kilometers from the motorway exit but it is an ideal place to relax. Magnificent house at the gates of the Morvan. The table and the cellar are well worth the detour (special mention for the pâté crust). The room had a smell, somebody smoked either next door or before. Shower is poor (and toilet was broken.
Bed was ok for a night, but more nights would not be very god for the back. When we arrived the outside made us think, coming inside we were pleasantly surprised, but the room definitely needs updating. Staff was very friendly, restaurant was full, hence not able to visit the restaurant. Which was actually a reason to chose the Hotel. (we didn't make a booking ahead as we booked last minute and assumed that hotel guests would always be able to get a table.

Chez Camille is a delightful little typical French Hotel. Free parking located at the front ideal for unloading luggage with out the hassle of finding somewhere to park. The hotel is clean and full of French character with a very pretty dining room. Our room on the first floor at the front had double windows opening on to the street with electric shutters, lovey bed and linen. A small sitting area made the room feel spaces. The town is delightful with a few sensibly priced places to eat. Try the Chateau just at the top of the town, good French food but expensive wine by the bottle, go for a glass or two.

First of all, check in at 3pm is not something you see in any boutique hotel nor business hotel. And it appears that the reason behind this is because the reception is not manned.
