We were warmly welcomed, had a clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed and adjustable heating. The hotel is a short walk from the centre and we were given advice about different options from the reception staff. Breakfast was lovely, pastries, bread, cheese, typical continental. Parking was free and available right outside. The views were fabulous and it made a great place to stop en route through France.

Très bon petit hôtel pratique à 30 minutes des stations de ski (Carroz, Saint Gervais et Chamonix). Ça nous a permis de skier dans les 3 domaines. Bien situé. Proche du centre ville avec suffisamment de bons restaurants. Bon accueil et les gérants sont très sympathiques. A recommander

The gentleman who was very kind and informed us well about the region Franck and Marjorie. the only small problem, we had no light in the bathroom. The neon was burned out.
This is not the first time we have stopped at this hotel. Moreover, we are delighted with it. Also good for the supervision - the cleanliness - the staff - the management - and the good lunch. We will come back to this

Unfortunately the last available room was very small facing the main road and without air conditioning. With 36 degrees at 20, the night was spent in a bath of sweat.

I looked for the cheapest hotel around Le Fayet on booking.com, saw Le National with a good review.
I was happy with that establishment, with the friendly reception - thus I stayed for another night.
On the street side it is extremely noisy. Impossible to sleep with the window open. Fortunately the temperature was bearable; I imagine that on hot nights it must be a furnace (because it is also the side of the setting sun). Maybe it's better on the courtyard side, I don't know.

Pitiful new bedding: double bed only in 140, extremely sparsely padded pillows, uncomfortable sheets and blanket, noisy box spring, very firm mattress, in short, very bad night despite a very warm welcome and an excellent breakfast. For the same Full an IBIS STYLE has much better performance. Here we are in a very basic two-star Ibis budget style without a 160 bed. There are also no sockets for recharging the telephone because the only sockets on each side of the bed are sockets ordered for the bedside lamps… Really disappointed

2-star hotel but with many more stars for the very warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door, for the service and attentiveness to its customers, not to mention the very generous breakfast.

We spent the weekend of August 15 in this hotel. The welcome from the owners was just overwhelming: smiling, serious and full of advice. We had 1 room facing the cliff side and the night was very quiet. Only downside of our stay was the size of the shower a bit small for us but the room was ultra clean and everything is in very good condition. The breakfast is very good and full, the coffee is just delicious. The hotel is close to the arve along which we were able to walk. There are a number of restaurants in Cluses: beware, not all of them are good and the one opposite the hotel is very popular so remember to book.

Booking online was very easy and practical. Unfortunately, it is a pity that it is apparently impossible to find a restaurant in Cluses on Sunday evening that still serves beer. The request to the gentleman at the reception of the hotel, whether a beer could be ordered was answered positively. After a shower and 30 minutes later, the room was locked and nobody was there who wanted to serve a beer. Disappointing!!
