The food was absolutely top notch and the service great. Rooms were a little basic but with no issues however the meal more than made up for it! Would definitely return & recommend.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel and we will certainly be coming back to stay again. We had a very enjoyable stay, the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was good and our dinner was excellent. Breakfast had a lot of choices.
The main road was being worked on, but the workmen moved the barriers for us, no problem.

Excellent in all ways

Our second stay here and as before the welcome was great, the room was clean and comfortable. Dinner was superb. One really nice touch is the addition of Netflix in the bedroom!

Excellent stop over with friendly staff and good food. My only criticism is that it will soon be time to change the mattress which is starting to sag in the middle.

We loved our stay and will definitely return. The quality of the food was outstanding and the hospitality was superb. We loved the house and the beautiful grounds. Aperitif in the lounge with the smell of the real fire was idyllic. Room comfortable with everything you need. Best breakfast.

Small solo stay. The staff were attentive from the first to the last day, efficient and professional, always smiling and friendly, but also very good advice.

A lovely warm welcome from the family who work so hard to make this hotel so delightful. We arrived quite late but we were welcome to dine on the terrace and had the most delicious meal - breakfast was great too - and then just a short drive to the Chunnel

Needs attention to detail. Not a word in the room about times/facilities etc. Only found second pillows the next day. Pay for UK TV. No tea/coffee stuff in the rooms. Wifi onlyd to be found when asked and signal too weak inroom.

Very good stay

We have stayed here now 5 times and is always a very pleasant hotel experience. The quality of the evening meal has always been of a very high quality.

I want to say good things about any independent hotel so I will start with the fact that the food and the service are excellent. The room however was disappointing. The walls between our room and the next were not proper walls and we could hear every word of what was being said next door during an interminable 'phone call

Very warm welcome with a person in charge of the charming establishment with simplicity and very invested in her hotel. Large wooded park and charm of the old in the vast building with a very comfortable bedroom.

The quiet room requested was very well respected, the catering and its service are most correct and the park surrounding the castle is large and accessible. Very well received despite the somewhat late hour.

The rooms are okay, but the whole hotel is a bit old. Very nice operator and always ready to help immediately! The food in the restaurant, on the other hand, is excellent!

Un restaurant ou l'on mange bien, ainsi que le petit déjeuner très soigné. Seul bémol: la WIFI pas forte dans tout l'établissement.

The restaurant is remarkable, the menus offered offer a sufficient choice and the quality is there! The breakfast is like the restaurant. As for the welcome and service, smiles, friendliness and efficiency are to be highlighted, it is a strong point of the hotel as of the restaurant. In summary, make the detour, you will not be disappointed!

We were made very welcome and the meal in the evening was excellent. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to friends and relatives. There is just one other thing which would have been good - if there had been a kettle and cups in our room as a means of making ourselves a hot drink.

Hotel convenient for Calais, the accomodation is fine. The staff are fantastic and so was the evening meal. It was delicious and the staff are very professional in the execution of their service. They are clearly proud of their offering.

Quirky and full of character, this hotel had a personal touch that was a relief after the chain hotels at the same price. The room was fine and our balcony catching the evening sun was a delight. The dinner was really excellent, and the manager very warm and welcoming, including to our dog.

Extremely good for food

We have been visiting Le Chateau de Tourelles for many years and have never been disappointed with any aspect - lovely owners and staff, excellent food and accommodation 5* all round!

This is our favourite hotel and we are never disappointed. Very comfortable in every respect, always a warm welcome and the food is magnificent!

A very pleasant stay. The restaurant was really really good, as was the breakfast. We were very kindly welcomed, even though our baby had a difficult moment in the evening in the restaurant. Recommended! :)

We wanted a comfortable place to stay close the the Channel Tunnel after a. Long days drive where we could get a good meal and feel we were still in France rather than in an “same everywhere chain hotel”. The Chateau des Tourelles fitted the bill perfectly. It was an excellent way to end our holiday in France.
