Exceptional castle, very warm welcome from the managers, attentive, attentive and very good advice. Really beautiful, functional room, very complete breakfast (sweet and savory). Top restaurant, apart from the castle but super copious, gastronomic limit.

The innkeepers are great as is the restaurant next door. Our room was nice except due to the age of the building it smelled stale and the A/C was very weak.
Excellent stay, very warm and personalized welcome, a very pleasant hotel to come as a family with children. The place is magnificent, the garden very calm. Perfect location for visiting Carcassonne and its surroundings. An excellent time spent at the hotel.

This is a lovely property with a variety of rooms in a lovely old chateau. The property is kept in excellent shape and is a pleasure to enjoy.
The owner couple are friendly, helpful and gracious in all ways.
The hotel is beautiful, very well maintained and the hosts very friendly. We felt completely comfortable. Everything was very simple and straightforward. The breakfast was superb; the best bread we ate during our stay in France, the homemade jams are unique. The hotel was very quiet, has a beautiful garden and is excellent for day trips in the area. Carcasson is of course worth the detour, and we will be back!

I had my dates mixed up and they were so kind to accommodate my arrival. One can tell they really enjoy their work and people in general.it’s a beautiful hotel run by lovely people.

Beautiful accommodation in a small hamlet only 5km to Carcassonne. Hostess, the lovely Mme Remy, is delightful and speaks excellent English should your French be rusty! Breakfast is available with very good coffee - would recommend taking this option.
We stayed in the beautiful Lastours suite and couldn’t have imagined a more picturesque view of the garden from our windows. C’est magnifique!

Friendly welcome with clear information regarding practical data. The room is neat and well equipped with toiletries and a well-stocked minibar, etc. Coffee/tea can be obtained in the breakfast room, so no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast is well prepared and extensive.

Fantastic hotel situated in a quite place but very close to Carcassone (10 min by car). The staff was really kind and helpful. The room was big enough and spacious for us and our two children. The temperature in the room was perfect eventhough outside was freezing. Our stay was fantastic and totally recommend the hotel.

This hotel was charming as each room was different and it had 'ambiance'. The location was calm and peaceful as it was in the countryside about ten minutes by car from Carcassonne but very convenient for visiting the fortified city.

It is a place a little out of time After the tumult of tourist visits it is very pleasant to enjoy the gardens and the swimming pool. The restaurant is very good and the staff very friendly. A top spot for both inactive and active (cycling) relaxation.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec un très bon accueil. Les hôteliers étaient avenants, sympathiques, très abordables et très ouverts. Ils n’ont pas hésité à nous aider dans la planification de nos activités et c’était bien pratique.
L’endroit est super calme et tout proche de Carcassonne. De quoi se ressourcer après de grandes expéditions.
Nous suggérons au maître des lieux de laisser les crapauds chanter aux abords de Lafontaine car c’est beau la nature. De plus aux abords d’un joli château, peut-être qu’une belle princesse y rencontrera son prince charmant.

the downside is the lack of a restaurant.. I hadn't paid attention to it out of habit of booking on the site...if I had seen that there was no restaurant I wouldn't have reserve. you should indicate that there is a restaurant (very good incidentally) which adjoins the hotel), even if it is not part of your organization.
