Personnel sympathique et compétent.
Très bel endroit au calme. Les gérants sont agréables. La cuisine du restaurant est une explosion de saveurs en bouche. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour.
Correcte keuken, mooie locatie, maar sterk verouderde kamers, totale renovatie nodig van het hotel.
Vétusté et sale. Seule la qualité de la literie est acceptable.
Si vous cherchez un endroit calme et cosi en campagne, ne pas hésiter à y aller !

Gezellig hotel, niet te groot, vriendelijke mensen, goed restaurant.
Pour nous rien d'un hôtel 3 étoiles, plus proche d'une maison d'hôtes avec quelques points négatifs : vétusté des lieux, restaurant très cher (29€ pour 5 noix de St Jacques certes cuisinées), chambre correcte mais SDB très "primaire" . Accueil sympathique, calme du lieu. Un ensemble donc correct mais surement pas à la valeur du prix affiché !

Les chambres et le lieu sont agréables, le repas est tout juste passable.

Agréable
Chambre petite et mal insonorisée. Bâtiment authentique avec son charme mais très mal isolé. Quand le chauffage est coupé toute la journée, ça devient un véritable frigo. Connexion Internet lente. Restauration très bonne. Dans ces conditions, il est difficile d'y travailler et de s'y reposer. Prix très élevé pour l'ensemble.
Accueil impeccable. Les chambres sont propres.
En revanche, il a fait vraiment froid et on doit quasi se laver à l eau froide.
Le petit déjeuner est décevant. Il manque de choix pour le salé et le sucré.
Attention aussi au serveur du soir. Il est adorable mais on attend tous ce qui se dit en cuisine...
Attention aussi aux cailloux dans la salade..

A lovely old hotel near the picturesque medieval town of Lamballe in Brittany. The hotel is built of local stone is full of character.
Super welcome arriving in the middle of the afternoon, In the evening stopover with a good hearty meal with good SUPER products! I was not able to have breakfast as I was waiting for an appointment but in my opinion at least the quality of the dinner. The owner was disappointed that I was not able to enjoy local products. The hotel thoroughly deserves its 3 star classification together with it's Hotel Cosy and Restaruant de Terroir listings in the 2023 Logis guide. The reception and service was very good, the room was just what we needed , the dinner and breakfast were both very good . All in all It was a very pleasant break in our journey from Mayenne to Roscoff
We had booked through the site for half board at €150. The managers had not noted the reservation for half board and initially presented us with an invoice for €240, which we refused. They rectified it, but their management seems approximate. On the other hand, the dinner was not balanced and heavy (quiche, brandade, cheese or crème brûlée), and each dish was accompanied by the same poorly cleaned salad. Not to mention the breakfast madeleines that have been out of date for a month! Overall very disappointing, we will not return and will not recommend it. Too bad, the place is very beautiful.

A pleasant place and a beautiful building for an evening. Very correct rooms but which do not correspond to the description of the sites, an update would be relevant. A restaurant is offered, which is practical given the location of the hotel, with a short menu whose value for money could be improved. A renovation of the bathrooms could be envisaged.

Lovely location in quiet rural position with very friendly and helpful family owners set in gardens with lots of comfortable outside space.
Very disappointing to have stayed in a very humid room (number 1) with a bad smell due to rising damp and certainly also the drains in the bathroom (the perfume stuck behind the bathroom door didn't get the better of it!) It seemed to sleep in the cellar. In addition, not particularly clean (towel, window…) the bed frame fixed with scotch tape, low-cut rattan bedside table. Very disappointed. Too bad because the place is very nice and the restoration service works.

Unfortunately there was a party in a marquee in the garden and the music and sounds did not stop until 2am. If the window in our room was shut, it was extremely hot. We weren't warned of the party beforehand. The owner seemed unable to deal with the situation. The new owners need to understand the needs of all types of guests and any work needs to be completed before opening to the public.
Welcoming and attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Nice meal. Very nice stay. Bedroom could do with a little upgrading but this is clearly an ongoing task.

We appreciated the pleasant setting of the house and its garden but even more the kindness and attention of our hosts, who bent over backwards to welcome us. A slightly renewed decoration would be welcome in the room, but the excellent quality of the bedding (we slept like logs) makes you forget this somewhat dated side. Conclusion: an excellent stay, we will gladly come back!

Very good night in this charming place We could not take advantage of the breakfast outside; the weather did not lend itself to it. The park is beautiful as is the building. The room was comfortable. The bathroom functional but a bit cramped. Our hosts were very welcoming and caring. Varied breakfast. Excellent value

Very noisy hotel. Room 16 overlooks the side of the kitchen blower, which starts at 7:00 am. Add all the noise from the hotel, discussions in the common areas, hair dryer, climbing down stairs, slamming doors, you get two very average nights
Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Es hat alles gut geklappt. Da keine Restaurants in der Nähe sind, haben wir hier zu Abend gegessen. Der Chef selbst kocht. Es war sehr gut und auch sehr speditiv. Leider wurden wir nicht über das Menu informiert oder angefragt, ob wir Fleisch essen oder nicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat alles was man braucht.

pleasant mansion, welcome from the friendly manager, but we were not informed that breakfast was served until 9:30 a.m. when we came down at 10:30 a.m. breakfast was served, we still had a coffee and an orange juice and a piece of bread but it's a bit much just for 13€ per person
