The pleasure of fine cuisine
Auberge de Chavannes is a very nice destination. Transformed into an inn, it certainly offers the cottage but also the opportunity for a very pleasant moment of gastronomy. Chef and owner Michel Bejeannin applies himself to a careful training and serves a cuisine that oscillates between the Jura and the Mediterranean. Inspired by his native region and his most beautiful products, he nevertheless forgets the many years he spent in Marseille. Exceptionnel ! Les hôtes sont vraiment charmants, l'accueil est très chaleureux, tout en étant très professionnel. Prestations haut de gamme pour un prix très correct. Très facile d'accès depuis l'autoroute. Joli bâtiment avec une déco intérieure très classe et de très bon goût, que ce soit dans les espaces communs, ou dans la chambre. Jolie chambre spacieuse et très confortable, et parfaitement insonorisée (on n'entend pas la circulation bien que l'hôtel soit situé au bord de la route) . Literie et linge de toilette de qualité. Superbe douche à l'italienne. Excellent petit déjeuner avec des produits maison (crêpes) et locaux (yaourts) et un pain excellent! Et pour compléter, un restaurant gastronomique remarquable. Que dire de plus ? Nous reviendrons!

Liked · a wonderful cosy and clean hotel about 6 hours from Calais (and under 2 hours to Geneva) and just over 5 minutes drive from the A39 motorway. Very friendly and professional staff, with an amazing on site restaurant for dinner. The Breakfast was also very good with fresh fruit and a selection of meats, cheeses and boiled eggs and bread. Home made apricot jam really topped it off nicely.

Catering hoteliers with quality local products. Excellent breakfast and variety of products with beautiful fresh produce. I suggest offering an extra boiled egg. Excellent local aperitif juices.

Really great stopover evening
Beautiful establishment, well located in the heart of the beauties to visit in the Jura. The staff is attentive, the restaurant lives up to its reputation (the wine list is beautiful and long, the sommelier's advice is useful for those who need help in their choices relating to wines from the region ). We will stay there again if we come back to the area

Everything was perfect at the hotel level, a big thank you to their owners for their kindness and the quality of the services. Extraordinary breakfast and gourmet catering at a very affordable price. The only downside is really the noise from the road, very busy but luckily once the windows are closed it's complete silence. Also the air conditioning in the room is very quiet. An address where we will return with pleasure because it is a paradise for cycling (Bressane route, PLM route (green routes))

Great hotel and very good restaurant. A lot of thought and love has gone into this hotel. The people are extremely nice and helpful. A dinner, overnight stay and breakfast is more than worth it.
On arrival we were a little worried because the hotel is located near a busy road, but the rooms are well soundproofed. The welcome is warm, the room pleasant with a large quality bed of 180x200cm. The icing on the cake, the restaurant serves really delicious dishes of great finesse. We feasted.

Hotel with a super good restaurant. For us the reason to choose this on our stopover in the journey. The hotel has beautiful and spacious rooms and a nice outdoor terrace. The location is not on a main road, but close to a pleasant town. And the jura winegrowers are also worth a visit. I put price quality on reasonable, because it is on the expensive side.

Excellent welcome, well equipped and very quiet room. The breakfasts are superb with lots of fresh and homemade products. The restaurant is also excellent with a very varied menu.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The setting is quite intimate, the premises are very pleasant and the welcome impeccable. The design of the bedroom and the bathroom is very appreciable. We will return with pleasure to continue discovering the Jura!

Very nice surprise. Conviviality and comfort have almost made us forget the national road that borders the establishment. Very nice small hotel, but is located on a very busy road. Staff etc. very friendly, room clean, restaurant food good, unfortunately our food was lukewarm and lacked some spices/salt. Not cheap. A glass of wine (pouring very poorly, was perhaps a 1/8 wine - 8.-EUR, dessert 14.-EUR, on average the main course at 30.-EUR upwards. Breakfast was a bit poor, e.g. we weren't asked if we Fried eggs, etc. Nice hotel, with good connections, but nothing around it
We spent 1 night in this hotel to take a break. The hotel was great … the management of the hotel was very nice .. the welcome was really good. The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Our room was very spacious and nicely equipped. There is really nothing to criticize. In addition, the hotel is very easily accessible and has a very large car park. We will come back to it.

Aan de buitenzijde lijkt het hotel een beetje op een luxe 'routier' maar dat is zeker niet het geval. Het hotel is zeer netjes ingericht, onze kamer was heel ruim en comfortabel met een ruime badkamer met zowel aparte douche als bad. Maar de grootste verrassing was het restaurant : mooie lokale gerechten met een zeer uitgebreide wijnkaart, vooral uitstekende lokale wijnen. Enig minpunt : het ontbijt is beperkt.
De centrale ligging in Frankrijk maakt dit een heel aantrekkelijke halte !
