The Hotel is Very difficult to find, a map with booking would help. Reception not opening until 5.00pm presents a problem if arriving early. no fridge or tea / coffee making facilities in the room. The small TV has such poor reception that it is of no practical use.

The property is in a nice setting, with good parking. Location is great for exploring nearby villages. Breakfast was adequate but limited choice. Had to request additional coffee and tea as only one cup provided. The room was basic but clean. There was one small bottle of water supplied between two adults who were staying two nights. Shower gel was inadequate - supplied in sample-type sachets with an empty dispenser on the wall of the shower. We left a small hand towel with the foot towel on the floor to be replaced (keeping the large towels for a second day) but the hand towel was returned to the towel rail wet. A disappointing stay as we had expected so much more from the information on the website.

We did not stay at the hotel. We arrived at 16.30 as confirmed the previous day. There was nobody in the hotel which was locked and dark. The terrace which was on the website was empty of tables and looked closed...
We did not stay at the hotel. We arrived at 16.30 as confirmed the previous day. There was nobody in the hotel which was locked and dark. The terrace which was on the website was empty of tables and looked closed up for winter. There was a tree climbing park right outside the hotel and a riding centre next door and hundreds of families around making this quite a different hotel to the one advertised. We eventually found a receptionist at 5.30. We were shown to our room but given the noise from outside and general lack of comfort, peace, terrace, outside dining space, the poor welcome, and soul-less atmosphere, we decided to leave. The website and booking.com information gives the impression of a small country house hotel in peaceful surroundings. The reality was more like a hostel set in an adventure playground.
