Reception is manned 24 hours and private parking on site. For the money its brilliant and we will be using it again

Had to send back soup to be warmed up - duck was very undercooked and sent back. We have definately noticed a decline over the past few years at The Cottage Hotel. The rooms are starting to look a bit shabby. The bathroom has a lot of mold. My wifes pillow case had spots of blood on it. The breakfast was for 9,50 euro a joke. Plastic cheese??? in France?? Nothing looked fresh. The fencing around the premises has been rammed by a car and pieces are hanging off it, so we weren't feeling comfortable leaving our car outside. All in all pretty disapointed and won't be staying again.

It was very disappointing. This was the last night of our holiday and we wanted somewhere special. To be honest the premier class was better for facilities and value at over half the price

My only criticism would be 2 pillows on the bed, but not a big issue.

I have a dog that travels with me so it was important that the dog could stay in the room. There were quite a few at the hotel with pets so Well Done Cottage Hotel for providing this service. I would suggest a water bowl outside for dogs as it was extremely hot during my stay.

The ceiling has collected a lot of dust as has the shelving so it needs cleaning. Also there were quite a few ants crawling around in the room. However the staff were excellent and automatically provided a connectin...

The ceiling has collected a lot of dust as has the shelving so it needs cleaning. Also there were quite a few ants crawling around in the room. However the staff were excellent and automatically provided a connecting suite of rooms so that the children were accessible from our room. In addition we didn’t book to have breakfast but it was no problem when we changed our mind in the morning. The staff were fantastic and very welcoming.

Sophie was fantastic. She managed the restaurant, reception, and the bar and not one customer was kept waiting. 5 star service in a hotel rated two is quite unexpected. Our stay was also, as our car had broken down ...

It was very nice but a little pricier than our usual hotel overnight stops . Could do with a little updating decor wise and bathroom a little tired looking. Not complaining though as we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel. Fab location for Ferry and Tunnel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms wpuld be perfect if had air conditioning. However we only stopped for one night so this did not really effect us.
