Logis Hôtel Au Vieux Morvan

Nous y faisons une escale chaque année sur la route de nos vacances. Bel endroit au calme et bien situé avec un tres bon restaurant.

Personnel très dévoué, très réactif. La déco des chambres a été refaite récemment, c'est très propre.

Jamais déçu. Simple, propre, efficace. Chambre refaite à neuf. Une valeur sûre.

Bruit de motorisation/ pompe à chaleur toute la nuit . Nous avons très mal dormi, à cause de ça. Bien dommage dans un hôtel , et à ce prix à la campagne….on s’attend tout de même à autre chose !

Chambre avec vitre cassé, toilette pas chauffé donc très froid,
pas de restauration possible dans l hotel au moment de notre séjour et ça n était pas spécifier au moment de la réservation,

Hôtel un peu vieillissant mais les travaux de restauration entrepris apporteront sans aucun doute le manque de modernité qui lui fait défaut.

Corridor and stairs leading to bedrooms, dirty. Worn bedding. Disappointing evening meal for the price...we were still hungry when we left the table! Breakfast too expensive for what is offered; more hygiene problem: having to take the gruyere with your fingers to cut a piece! At 8:30 a.m.... we were told "no more eggs"! Very disappointed with our stay.

The staff were very helpful and spoke English.
The most disappointing things were:
Breakfast - no hot food on the buffet.
The 1664 was 10€ for 50cl. This is a rip-off!

I would have liked more French cuisine on the menu rather than burger and fries.

Parking in front of the door. Large, fresh room (with air conditioning) for French dimensions, some renovation needed here and there but it did not bother us. We were late for the pool but it looked a refreshing extra. Nice restaurant and decent French breakfast. Overall good for a night.

for a 3 star hotel I expected an irreproachable property, this is not the case, behind the door of the room cobwebs, the door of the room needs to be planed because it forces the opening and closing, the lock is very hard to operate, disappointed that we have to go out to go to the swimming pool not specified, finally last detail the price of breakfast at 12 euros, very high compared to the service provided, thank you for your answer, overall I expected something else, the only things we appreciated were the staff and the very good restaurant.

The swimming pool and the spa are a real plus with a magnificent view of the Morvan. The staff is very nice. Many thanks for the attention paid to the situations of cyclists.

The hotel has been recently renovated, the bedding is new. Despite this: The bedroom and bathroom are cramped. The reception closes at 7 p.m. like the swimming pool (could not take advantage of the swimming pool). .the breakfast is arbitrary. The room overlooks the hotel air conditioner. The hotel restaurant was unfortunately closed. Although being in a historic place, my memory of my stay is mixed. Some additional efforts are necessary (reception hours, quality of breakfast) would make the stay pleasant

Very warm welcome, clearly the strong point of the hotel. As for the room, we paid more by booking 3 months in advance than if we had booked a week in advance... not very logical for the end customer. Overall very old equipment, not easy to carry luggage up the stairs with so little space. Swimming pool and jaccuzi very pleasant (it would be necessary to have access to the swimming pool via the hotel and no longer have to go out into the street to get there). Breakfasts a little expensive compared to the quality of the products served (thawed pastries, poor quality ham…) Clearly we will remember the great welcome and the swimming pool/jacuzzi for the rest we were disappointed with the services.

Excellent welcome and kindness of the whole team. Aging hotel but with charm, and finally quite comfortable. Prices a little overpriced (very basic breakfast at 14 euros...)

Tiny room, hardly any freedom of movement for 2 people. outdated not really renovated old tiles simply painted over, access to rooms via extremely narrow stairs sorry but not for the room price breakfast so-so

After a group of racing cyclists fell upon the breakfast buffet, the offer was manageable. The bathroom needs a renovation.

Excellent welcome from all the staff. Very comfortable room, excellent food at breakfast and meals. And the jacuzzi doesn't spoil the experience.

Lucky to have been able to sleep in room 15. History and view! Considerate and friendly welcome. The style of decoration of the room denotes a little (black-grey-leather). Very good dinner at the restaurant. Small sink problem clogged on arrival but quickly resolved.

Excellent staff. My room needed a coat of paint on the side of the door to the bathroom. It is an old hotel. Bed comfortable and staff excellent. Cannot expect anything more from a small village. I will return.

A perfect night, very welcoming and professional staff. Very nice bedding. The pool/spa area enjoys a very beautiful view. A small flat for the bathroom which is a bit small. The restaurant offers amazing food! We recommend the trout steak!! Just fabulous!

The reception on arrival, perfect! The pool and jacuzzi very good. The room small but clean. Flat concerning the soundproofing, the sink which drains badly and the door of the bathroom which closes with difficulty. Very beautiful view. Big point of disappointment: The restaurant. We waited 1h50mn to have the starters. When I reported the problem I was told it's normal, everyone is waiting for hot dishes. Realizing the situation, the waiter comes back and tells me that the kitchen has missed a starter and has to start over. After 20 minutes, the starters arrive. The hot starter à la carte was very good, however the goat salad with salad in a sachet and industrial goat cheese in a log disappointed me. The dishes without much interest but on the other hand the comments of the staff, their grimaces and their casual attitude completely shocked us. The server tells me that he has seen the boss and offers us appetizers for 15€ total. The addition will amount to more than 160€ for two. I estimate the gesture below the disappointment felt because it was an important moment for us, which was completely missed. Perhaps the Booking reservation, the fact that we were only there one night and not known to the staff or the management favored this treatment, unworthy of a home in France. We were expecting a substantial gesture the next day, but when paying the bill, I reported the problem, no instructions had been given, moreover no manager was on site either in the evening or the next morning. to the well-being of your customers and check in from time to time to see if all is well at the table.

A very convenient hotel for us as our son’s wedding was at at a Chateau in the area. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean. The food was very good.

the room smelled musty. the pillows on the bed are the thickness of a postage stamp. The bed was also supported by a glue bucket. causing you to lean to one side.

Clean room, friendly welcome, quality catering and the swimming pool is a real plus.

The reception there is deplorable! Upon our arrival, the manager was unfriendly. 4 of us came for a friendly good time and any politely made request was impossible to accommodate. After negotiation, it was impossible to have a lighted place in one of the common areas after 11 p.m. to simply play cards; even if we had duly eaten at the restaurant so far. The very pleasant person who served us did not know where to go and tried to modulate the enthusiasm of the manager. We were only briefly at the pool and dinner, the rest of the time we fled the establishment. I always recommend this hotel as a dormitory base if you visit this beautiful region. On the other hand, if you want to spend a convivial moment there, you have to look elsewhere!

Friendly welcome. Welcoming staff. 2 nights on site. Small but adequate room. Very small bathroom and very small shower. Very weak soundproofing with a very noisy neighbor the 1st night. Breakfast very good. Very good restaurant too.

Hotel is heavily dated, stairs to the second floor are narrow and steep, not a problem, but the lack of lighting is. Room was last painted 20 years ago, ditto carpet and bathroom. Bathroom stinks of the damp. Not from the last days. Breakfast reasonable but certainly not great. Coffee after 6 pm not possible on Sundays and Mondays Better towards the Ibis in Autun, or to Corbigny - hotel la Buissonniere rather to Luzy Hotel Du Morvan much better and cheaper or equal in price.
